Hey guys! It's Jem here. Honestly, this is the first story I made that consists 1350 to 1500+ words per chapter and I am so grateful to have you all as my readers. Seeing the comments makes my heart melt and my day better and brighter. The chapters are supposed to be published only on Mondays and Fridays but since, I, too, is excited for you guys to read the chapter, I publish one chapter a day, or two if I get to finish 4 chapters; especially that it's somehow on its way to the good parts. I still proceed upstairs to my room, just to grab my phone and a pillow, then went downstairs. Tomorrow's Sunday. Luke and I's date day. I couldn't get any happier. I open my phone and found my phone with two text messages from an unknown number. I then see the name of the sender as I read. It came from Luke. But how did he get my number, though?

"Hey May, I'm so excited for our date tomorrow." It says on the first message, "By the way, this is Luke." Says on the second.

I slide my phone open, excited to reply and have a conversation with my crush.

"Hey Luke. Me too! By the way, where did you get my number?"

Downstairs, carrying my pillow, I roam around the house, turning off the lights except in the kitchen. Through the living room, I turn off the light and dropped the pillow down on the floor, beside the couch where Shawn is. Just to make sure I can easily get access to him when he needs something.

"I got it from the list." He replied.

"What list?"

"The list of the members of our group when we were about to compete for the peer building event."

"Oh.. where are we going tomorrow?"

"Anywhere you want."

"Where is 'Anywhere you want' located?"

"Hahahaha! Okay, I'll take you to the park. There's a free bicycle riding there where we can travel the whole park for hours if you want."

"Sounds fun. I can't wait!"

I can't believe me and my crush are texting. My dreams are really coming true. Sooner or later, we're gonna be legal and be married. Light shines bright only on my face from my phone when he moans promptly.

"M–May..?" He says with his voice sounding stuffed.

"Hm?" I said while replying to Luke and focused on my phone, "Yeah?"

"Why.. why are you.. down.. there?"

"Looking after you."

"Are you okay.. down there?"

"I'm fine. I've done this before when I had to look after my aunt when she was pregnant."

"Oh.. when did she.. gave birth..?"

"Last year but.. her baby died."

"I.. that's.. sad."

"Wow. I'm surprised you're feeling sad towards it. That's the first one."

"I'm human, too. Of course, I.. do."

"Yeah. Okay. You better take a rest."

"Are you.. really sure, you're.. fine down there?"
