On the day of the dance Adam was waiting for it with excitement in his veins as he was meditating that morning before he had to go to school and so as he cleared his mind out he then drew his energy out before he then created his swords which were now more solid and dark looking with some cracks on the hilts and the blades but now could be seen more clearly and so he then put the energy back into himself before getting up and then got some clothes out of his closet and dresser before going about his routine for the morning . As soon as Adam was done getting ready he then headed to the kitchen before sitting down as his father dished out the food and then put the plates on the table while his mother was sipping her coffee and Connor was sitting down as well .
So then Adam took his fork before digging into his eggs and Kara asked him " you ready for tonight honey ?" before he nodded and said " yeah just excited and a little nervous you know ?" to which Luke smiled and said in return " well i know you'll have fun " as he then sipped his coffee for the moment . Adam and Connor finished their food before heading to the school and as he stood in front of his locker Adam was listening to his playlist for the morning as he took out his books and items for his classes before he saw Alice walking towards him with a smile on her face and so he said " Hey you look happy what's going on?" before she said in a cheery tone " Nothing much just excited about tonight that's all you know ?" which Adam nodded at and so they headed to their classes for the next hours .
Adam sat in Chemistry and asked Charlie " So do you want to come over to my place so we can get ready for the dance ? i mean if you are getting ready at home with your date that's cool " before Charlie shook his head and whispered " no it's not that yeah i will come over i was thinking about something else " which made Adam chuckle before they worked on the test they had in the class for the period . Once the morning was over Adam then sat down in Lunch and then worked on some of his homework while eating his food on his tray before he noticed Alice walking towards his table and so he moved over some of his books before she sat down and he then said " so i was wondering if you wanted to come over for pictures tonight before the dance ? i mean if you want to " .
Alice nodded eagerly before shaking her head as she said " Of course i will i mean i would like to meet your family and take pictures with you " before she dug into her sandwich while thinking to herself " this will be a fun night i know it " . The day was soon over and so as Adam was running down the field with the cross country team that afternoon he was breathing easily while keeping up with the team and so they finished their laps before heading into the weight room and then Adam stood over Charlie as he did his reps with the weighted bar before Charlie got up and Adam then sat down to do his reps . Once the workout was done Adam and Charlie got dressed with the rest of the team before they then hopped into Adam's car and then drove home.
As they reached Charlie's house Adam said " yo just let me know when you're coming over ok man?" with Charlie nodding before he gave Adam a fist bump and then headed into his house while Adam drove home . As he was sitting in the kitchen working on his homework Adam was also listening to some music and as he switched to " Pull The Plug " Adam then finished his work before putting the books and papers away as he then got up and headed to take a short nap for the hour before he had to get ready for the dance and so as he slept in his bed he also had his phone with him to alert him when he had to get up . The time went by before Adam was alerted to get up and so he got to his feet before heading to the shower and then turned on the water before getting washed up .
Adam then dried off before he got dressed in a white dress shirt and black pants as well as a red tie and black blazer and then put his shoes on before getting some food into his body and then saw Charlie and his date walk into the room . Maya was a sweet looking girl with black hair and blue greyish eyes which had a warm look in them and so she smiled before giving Adam a handshake as she said " Well you look great and i'm happy to meet you " with Adam smiling back before he said " Same thing here " and so Alice walked into the room then wearing a beautiful white dress and her hair being done in waves with a curl at the end which drew Adam's attention and so he touched the curls before smiling while he put his arm down .
Then he said " You look great !" which made Alice smile and so she hugged him before smelling his cologne as she said " thanks you look great as well " before meeting Maya as they got ready for pics . Once the pictures were done being taken Adam and Charlie helped their dates into the cars before driving to the school and as they then stepped into the school they handed in their tickets before going into the gym . The dance was now going in full swing and so as Adam sat down with Alice he asked " want to get some drinks ?" which she smiled at and then nodded before they got up and walked over to the drinks table where they poured some of the fruit punch and then sipped some as they sat back down for a moment while Charlie and Maya were talking to some of their friends .
Adam then asked Alice " you ready to dance ?" with a smile before she nodded with her own smile and so they got up before heading to the dance floor where a slow song was playing and so he then placed his hands on her hips as she then put her hands on his shoulders and then they swayed back and forth for the next few minutes while the song was playing before the song stopped and so they went to sip some more of their drinks for the next amount of time before Adam said " I got to use the bathroom is that OK?" before Alice smiled and shook her head in a nodding motion before Adam then got out of the seat and headed to the bathroom for the next few seconds .
but as he was heading back he was shocked to see a man step out of what seemed to be a portal and then point his finger at Adam who looked now troubled before he said " what do you want ?" and the man smirked before holding his hand out and formed an ax before he said " Fight!" as he then dashed towards Adam who formed his swords and prepared for a fight .
