So as Adam stood in Sarah's manor that morning as he wanted to know what the true powers of the Tome of Shadows was and so he knocked on the door before Sarah opened the door and a woman came out of the door with a smile as she kissed Sarah's cheek in a more than friendly manner which made her smile and so she said " Um i bet you have questions ?" with Adam nodding before he said " I'm not going to judge you or anything but i do want to talk to you " and as she closed the door Adam walked besides her to the library before she sat down and said " First i am into men but at the same time i'm also into women as in the Shadow World it's not illegal or wrong to be into both genders or into one particular gender and so i enjoy being with a woman or a man at different times and have been with both at some times of fun if you know what i mean ?" .
Adam nodding in understanding and then he said " OK so what you think i'm going to be grossed out or anything i think you would know me better than that as i hate people who judge without knowing someone personally and so i would never judge you harshly as well as my friends would either " which made Sarah smile and so the young woman stretched out before she said " Ok so what do you need to know now ?" with Adam saying in a serious tone " Yes i need to know anything that we can use about the Tome of Shadows i know what it can do to a person but at the same time we need to know about any weaknesses or anything " which Sarah nodded at as she hoped to be able to create some strategies to get a head of their enemies .
Then she said " What i do know is that it seems to be able to tempt a person based on the dark feelings in their heart so if you don't have any of that in you then it should be fine but that will come when it comes " and so Adam nodded as she then said as well " But now we need to keep a eye out for anything that happens while at the same time look for any other info on the Tome and see if there's any other info we can use alright ?" before Adam got up and then they began to do some training for now before Adam then headed home where he then sat down in the kitchen with a cup of hot chocolate while he read through his notebook with his Chemistry notes in it until Connor and Charlie came into the room and Charlie asked " yo dude want to go out and get something to eat or something ?" .
Adam rubbed his eyes and said " sure i'm hungry anyway " and so as they parked outside of the diner they headed inside before sitting down and as the waitress came over and said " Hi what can i get you guys to drink ?" Adam said " Well i'll take a coke please " before Connor and Charlie agreed with that and so Connor said " what were you and Sarah talking about this morning ?" with Adam shaking his head and said in a whisper " Just some things about the Tome you know ?" before Connor nodded with Charlie doing the same thing . Later in the next few minutes as they ate their food Adam was coming out of the bathroom when he gripped his chest as he felt a pain shoot through his body which he didn't know what caused it.
Then in his mind he saw the Tome sitting on a podium before Dariux said to himself " This must be done for Lord Auriex " as he placed his hand on the page in front of him before he chanted some Latin and then threw his hand out before he summoned some Dark looking Knights as he said " Go find Adam and Connor Daniels " .. So as Adam got out of his mind he headed over to his best friend and brother before he said " We need to go now Dariux had summoned some soldiers before sending them to attack us " and so they paid for their food before heading out of the area before going to the front of the diner where the Knights had come forth and Adam then formed two gauntlets before Connor did the same thing .
so Adam dashed forward before punching two of them and knocked them out of the way while Connor used a series of combos against the two knights that were fighting him . Eventually the two knights faded away before Adam decapitated his foes and then said to his group " We need to go home OK ?" and so they got into the car before driving to Adam's house where they then regrouped and formed new plans to take them on before they did anything else . Later that afternoon Adam said to Sarah over the phone " Yeah they attacked us as i believe that Dariux wanted Connor to show his abilities but i don't know so let's keep this in mind before we do anything else " which Sarah agreed to with her saying " yeah i know so why don't you guys come over tonight and we can work on what you're lacking in before we do anything else ".
So then as he hung up Adam headed to the bedroom before taking a short nap and then he asked his dad " Dad do you know anything else about the Tome of Shadows i mean Sarah told me some things but i don't think it'll be enough to stop it " and Luke nodded as he said " I don't think i remember much but i'll ask your mother to see if she remembers anything " and so as Adam went to Sarah's house that night and worked on his training before going to bed later he felt that something really bad was going to happen .
