As Adam was in the emergency room that next day he was in a unconscious state where he was in his mind standing in the library which now had a lot more books due to the balance between his dark thoughts and flaws and his more good side being 100% and so as he then looked around the room he saw a door opened up and so he walked into the door before he was led to a coliseum where he saw a bunch of warriors come forward and the leader who had black tattoos and no hair said " you must defeat us to move forward and get out of this state you're in " before Adam smirked and formed two gauntlets as he said " Fine bring it " as he dashed forward and then attacked two of the guards to knock them onto their backs which led to a punch to the face and a stab to the stomach as one of his gauntlets had turned into a blade .
At the same time in the real world Alice stood by the coffee machine outside the hospital room where she was making herself a cup and then moved over to the chair outside of the room before sitting down and thinking to herself " I hate that this keeps happening to us but i will make sure we win this conflict " as she sipped her drink for the ext few minutes . At that moment Connor and Sarah came over and Sarah asked " what happened ?" before Alice rubbed her eyes and said " we were driving to the diner for some food when we were hit by someone and Adam got the full damage " as she told them this her eyes started to fill with tears so Connor handed her a tissue and said " I know my brother he will be fine . "
After he said that the doctor came out and said " You are right young man are you this patient's family ?" with Connor nodding and said " I'm his brother but my parents are coming here now " as Luke and Kara came towards them . Luke asked the doctor " How is my son doing right now ?" as Kara squeezed his hand with the doctor smiling at them and said " He is recovering right now with his injuries not too terrible only a few scrapes and bruises but he should be fine in a few days so i want to keep him here for a day or two to check him over and you can see him whenever you want is that OK ?" before Luke smiled and looked at his wife before he said " Yes i think that will be good as he can be checked for any other injuries so we'l come back tonight " and so both adults headed out to grab some coffee and Alice asked "can i come in ?" before the doctor smiled at her and nodded with Alice getting up and sitting down next to her boyfriend's unconscious body .
Adam was now slashing through the final wave of enemies before he said " Is that all ?" with a man walking out of the shadows and saying " No now you face me " as he formed a sword and shield before Adam formed his own swords and then they clashed for the next few minutes . Adam swiped at the man before it was blocked with the shielded man grabbing Adam's chest and throwing him away from him only for Adam to roll out of the way as the sword came down on his body and he then threw one of the blades at the man's head which slashed his cheek and then Adam leaped up before slamming down on his enemy which knocked him out and so Adam was now in the real world . Adam gasped in surprise before he smiled at his girlfriend who smiled back at him in happiness .
So then she kissed him before whispering " you ok now babe ?" with Adam nodding and so he asked " when can i go home ?" before Alice sighed and squeezed his hand as she said in a resigned tone " You are to stay here for a day or two so you can be checked out to see if you have any other injuries you know ?" which Adam nodded at and then he asked " well can i get something to eat or drink ?" and Alice got up before she said " how about i get you a coke OK ?" . So as Alice headed to the vending machine she then grabbed two cokes before she then sat down with her boyfriend and then they drank their sodas for the next hour before Alice went home and then as she fell asleep she told herself to go back when she woke up .
As Adam was sleeping that night Dariux walked into the room and said in a low voice that was undetectable " I hope you know what you might have to do in the upcoming fights so harden your heart and get ready for the challenges ahead " before he walked out and Alice came into the room before Adam got up and they chatted for the time being .
