As Adam looked at his foe he saw that the man was cloaked in a black hooded cloak with a medallion on the middle of it along with a symbol of a serpent in the Infinity motion which looked weird to Adam but he then shrugged it off as he tightened his grip on his manifested swords before he asked " who are you and why are you attacking me i don't even know you?" with the man smirking behind his hood before he said in a silky yet cold voice " Well you could say we're related but not by blood but by species and for why i am attacking well you could say i want to test you so get ready !" before he lunged at Adam with his axe before the young man dodged the strike and then slashed outward in a arc before cutting into the cloak and ripping it a bit.
This made the man laugh in an amused manner before he said " Bravo you do have skill you just don't know it yet so how about this if you can hurt me to the point where i can be on my knees i will let you know who i am " which got Adam's attention before he said " alright you got my attention so let's see if that will happen!" before he leaped up and crashed down on the man with his swords in a impaling motion before he stabbed him through the shoulders and then delivered a series of punches in the face with enough force to break some bones . The man gasped before he threw Adam off and the teen rolled to his feet as his foe got up before cracking his nose and saying " Good job you definitely have it in you to be a fighter so i'll say that my name is Kai and i am definitely impressed with you so one last blow and then we'll see who wins!" as he roared.
Kai then was dashing towards Adam who growled to himself and then gripped his swords before running towards Kai and as they dashed past each other blood squirted from Kai's body due to the slashes inflicted on his torso before Adam fell to a knee as he was also injured but not too bad due to him unknowingly reinforcing his bones to take the blow and so the hooded man smirked before opening a portal and said " You will go far kid me and my friends will be watching " as he then stepped away while Adam got to his feet and groaned . Alice Charlie and Maya came running over to him and Alice asked "what happened?" before Adam cranked his arm back and then stretched it out for the moment .
Then he said " Some guy attacked me and he seems to be related to me as he said that we're the same " before Alice asked " is this part of who you are ? as in your lineage ?" which Adam nodded and said " i'll tell you more when we get home OK?" which Alice nodded to and they headed out to the car before sitting down with Adam turning it on and then driving home . Adam pulled into the driveway before he turned off the car and then looked at his crush before asking " so you want the whole truth ? like will you be OK with it after i tell you ?" before Alice nodded and then said " i don't think i am the type of person to leave you as a friend even if i know something different about you " to which Adam nodded and said " well first i am a member of a race of people known as Shadow People or Shadow Beings and my family are part of them too and so i have been learning about my abilities and so it seems there are members of this group who want to attack me or something "
Then as he said this Alice just sat and listened to the truth before once Adam stopped talking she took a deep breath before she said " OK well first i am not going to see you any different and i want to keep being friends so i see nothing wrong with this and second i know Charlie will still be your friend and if you get to know her i think so will Maya. " before the young man then smiled and kissed her cheek as he then opened his door and said " let's go get something to eat and sit down to relax " with Alice smiling as well and so the two teens headed into the house and then made some popcorn before turning on the TV and then watched some Supernatural while eating the popcorn for the next few minutes .
Charlie and Maya walked into the room as they had gotten home a few seconds ago before the young man said " hey what happened bro ?" in a concerned voice as they sat down while Adam handed the bowl before saying " Some giant jerk attacked me due to some test that the guy wanted to do with me before i beat him and so he left " with Charlie nodding and then Adam told him about his new part of his life with Maya listening in as well due to her wanting to get to know Adam and so once he was done Adam asked " so what do you guys think about this ?" with the other two teens thinking about it before Maya said " well i want to say that even if i just met you i want to say you seem cool guy and i don't have anything to hold against you " .
Charlie nodded at her and then said " i agree with that and i have nothing but good things about what you just told me so keep living your life dude " which made Adam and Alice smile before they all sat down and chilled out for the night . Then as the night came to a end Adam said to Alice " want me to drive you home ?" before she nodded with a smile and then they headed out to his car before turning on the lights and then as he drove Alice pointed out her house before he stopped and then she said as she got out " I had fun tonight and i hope we can have more fun times " before she kissed his cheek and then headed into the house before Adam smiled and then drove home . After that Adam then got ready for bed before passing out on his bed due to being tired .
