As Lakiux smirked and slammed his whip into the ground Sarah dodged the strike before she then formed two gauntlets and punched Lakiux two times which caused some blood to pour out of his mouth as he growled and dashed out of the way as Sarah then formed some daggers in her hands before throwing one of them into Lakiux's leg which prevented him from moving too fast and Sarah was about to cut him down before Lakiux smirked and sent a burst of energy into her eyes and said " Look here fool i will win and you can't stop me " as he formed two katanas before slashing Sarah's chest and this caused her to stumble back before she healed the wound and said " Bring it on " as she formed two pistols .
She then shot some bullets at Lakiux before they pierced his skin and caused him to bleed some more blood before he said " Ow that was not fun but now i have to go see you later " in a condescending tone before teleporting away with Sarah groaning in pain as she then turned to see Adam and Alice knock out the last of the goons that were in the room and so as Connor let the last of his animals fade away he said " so what now ?" before Sarah said "alright now we need to find the control room and then see if there's anything else we need to destroy or ruin or something" and so they all headed out of the room before finding some guards in the hallway just playing cards or something .
So Adam formed two assassin daggers before he snuck behind them and stabbed or slit their throats which they were only able to watch as they died which Adam did feel some guilt for but he knew he was stopping them from working for Auriex and so he looted them before they found a room with a bunch of goons that looked like they were asleep before Adam looked over at them and then nodded at Sarah who motioned to knock them out before Adam headed over and chopped them in the neck while leaving one of them alive as he wanted to interrogate them . Then as he held the man up he asked " What is Auriex planning ?" before the man said " He wants to use the book to not only destroy the world but bring his wife back from the grave using someone as her vessel ."
This worried all four group members so they knocked him out before Adam then moved over to the control console where he hit the self destruct button and then said " Let's get out of here guys " and so they headed out to the jeep before they drove to the manor where they then sat down with some hot chocolate before Sarah said " alright there's not that info on Auriex's family so that's our next objective and so i want you guys to work on that during your days OK ? whatever you find just let me know " and so both brothers nodded before Adam offered his arm to his girlfriend before he said " want to go get something at the cafe ?" with Alice nodding silently . Once at the diner Adam and Alice ordered their food and drinks before Adam asked his girlfriend " you OK ? you seem quiet for tonight " with Alice trying to find the right words for what she wanted to say.
It was soon before she was deciding to spit it out as she said " I was thinking now that we know what Auriex wants to do with the Tome you know reviving his wife i wonder if that makes him somewhat sad you know ? like it kinda changes our view on him in the sense that he wants his wife back " to which Adam sipped his coffee and said " Yeah it kinda does but remember he is also trying to destroy the world so it's cool that we understand where he is coming from but don't forget the more important facts OK babe ?" with Alice nodding in agreement . Once they finished their food Adam and Alice paid for it before heading to the car and then they drove home before sitting down in the kitchen and Adam asked his parents as they entered the room " Hey dad do you know who Auriex's wife would be ? we found out that that's his second objective and so we want to find out more info you know ?" with Luke looking at his wife who bit her lip .
Then Luke said " I don't know much but i know she was the main light in his life and that she was murdered by some of our own people before he was corrupted by his power and then banished so that might be a reason why he wants to kill us you know ?" and Adam nodded as he and Alice memorized that info before heading to the den .
Later that night as Adam was playing some Batman Arkham City on his PS3 for some time he was thinking " So if we were the reason why Auriex hates Shadow People then he has a good reason for wanting us dead so that might be a good idea for more info and i'll tell Alice and Sarah and Connor about this later " before he finished up with the game and headed to bed .
