After learning of his race's origin Adam was now ready to learn more about who he is and what he can do and so as he was sitting down in front of his laptop which he had gotten from his parents for his birthday and was starting to jot down the notes about his newest idea for a possible story Adam also had his phone charging next to him while at the same time being set to alert him if he got any messages from Sarah and as Adam wrote down the first part about his main character Dante he then checked his clock on the laptop to make sure he had some time before he had to go to school and so as he finished the current part of the notes Adam then saved his work before taking his phone and then set it to vibration before going to get ready for the day with his first part of the routine being where he took his shower and then got dressed before he would go sit down for breakfast and then headed out for school .
As Adam walked into the kitchen he looked at his parents and asked " So is it true , i mean that we got our abilities from the Corrupted One ? i mean i was told by Sarah so they might be some truth to it but i want to hear it from your mouths " with Luke looking at his wife and then nodding before he said " yeah it's true now i don't want you to think that we're bad people or anything as i believe that it's what we do with our abilities and with our choices that makes us who we are and so i want you to know that i trust you with this whole learning about yourself but just be careful OK son?" with Kara nodding in agreement for the moment .
The next minutes she said " i know that you can take of yourself but we just don't want anything to happen to you " as she handed him a plate of food with Adam sitting down to eat while Connor walked into the room and also had a plate of food handed to him and so the family sat down to eat for the time being . Then as Adam and Connor got up a few moments later and then grabbed their bags they then kissed their mother's cheek before saying " we'll see you later " and then sat in the car before Adam drove to the school and as they stood in front of Adam's locker Connor said " i'll see you later bro OK?" before he fist bumped Adam and then headed to his own locker for the morning .
Adam then shook his head and then opened his locker to get what he needed for his classes while listening to his music . Alice was standing at her own locker taking out what she had for her classes when she noticed Adam at his locker with a smile on his face which made her face smile as well so she gathered her books before she walked over to his locker and said " Hey Adam how's it going ?" before he turned to her and said " it's not too bad i just found out some things about myself you know ?" with Alice smiling in happiness as her friend was able to discover some new facts about himself which felt amazing for her as she wanted him to be happy with himself and so she asked " can i hear them or is it not time yet?" .
Adam shook his head at and said " i wish i could as i trust you but i don't think you'd believe me so how about when i know some more i'll tell you is that good ? it's not that i don't want to tell you it's just it's a little bit out there " which Alice nodded at and replied " sure it's OK as i can tell you need a little bit more time trying to get used to it " before they sat down in their history class. The time went by and so it was now time for Adam's Chemistry class and so as he sat in the classroom with Charlie next to him he wrote down the homework for the time being while Charlie whispered " Did you find out anything about who you are or what that mark on your chest means ?" before Adam nodded and then whispered back " Yeah but you probably won't believe me if i told you " as he focused on his quiz the class was working on for the period .
Charlie snorted before he said in a low voice " Try me dude i think i can believe what you got to say to me " while having a smile on his face that made Adam shake his head as he handed in the quiz and then said " OK later in practice i'll let you know what is going on " just as the bell rang and so Adam grabbed his books before heading to the cafeteria for lunch . Alice was putting her tray together with the food she wanted for her lunch when she felt a finger poking her in the shoulder and so as she turned around she smiled at Adam who was smirking at her in a playful way before she said " so what are you going to eat? i mean usually i see you with a burger or a sandwich " which Adam shook his head at before he responded with " i don't know maybe i'll get something else that's the good thing about the food here you get what you want " .
Then the line moved on before Alice paid for her food and then headed to their table while Adam got a turkey and cheese sandwich and some fries before picking up a drink and then paying for the food before heading to the same table . Adam sat down and then said to Alice " i decided to tell you a little bit about what I've learned but you might not believe me " before Alice smiled goodhearted at him and said " i think i can accept what you tell me so go ahead " and so Adam took a bite of his apple before whispering " I'm actually from a group of people that have unique skills and i am actually high up in the ranks " with Alice blinking in surprise before she said " wow i mean that's good for you don't get me wrong but i can see why you wouldn't think i'd believe you " .
Adam shook his can of soda before drinking some and said " it's OK i'll tell you the rest later " as he put his drink down and then they talked about different things while eating their food . The day was soon over and so Adam headed to the locker room before getting changed for practice and so as he went out to meet with the team they were soon heading out to the track before they began to do their warm ups . Once they were done with that the team headed into the weight room for their session in there and so as Adam sat on the bench with his hands on the bar Charlie then watched him do his reps while keeping his eye on him and so once Adam was done he then sat down before Adam did the same thing for the next few minutes .
Eventually the practice session was done and so Adam headed home before he then worked on his homework and then went onto his laptop to do some writing before dinner and as he then sat down in the den after dinner he then worked on his homework for some more time before going to bed.
