At the same time as Adam's fall into his blackout Alice was sitting at home with her books out and her laptop in front of her while her phone was sitting besides her as it played " Tug of War" by Set It Off which was something she shared with Adam due to their liking for the band and so she was finishing some of her paper for her English class when her phone went off and so Alice frowned as she picked it up before reading the message that read " Hey this is Charlie um Adam's been taken to a special place to heal from whatever he had happen to him so if you want to find us come to this location " as it showed the image of the manor that she knew Adam went to from time to time before she gasped in shock at Adam being hurt and so she sent back " I'll be right there " before taking her phone with her.
Alice then turned on her car as she got herself prepared before pulling out of the driveway and then headed to the manor for the next few minutes . As she drove on the way there Alice thought to herself " I wonder what goes on with Adam i mean he doesn't seem to get hurt often and now he's been blacking out so what is it ? " before she reached the manor and so as she parked and walked up to the door she knocked on it before the door opened as Albert walked up to her and smiled in a pleasant manner before he said " Hello my name is Albert how may i help you?" with Alice shaking her head as she said " I'm looking for Adam i got a message saying that he's here ?" before Sarah walked up and said " Yes hes's in a spare room please come in "
So then as Alice stood in the middle of the room she looked around and was amazed at the cool look and feel of the room and so she said " this cool how do you know Adam ? i mean i know what he is but i don't know what relations you have to him" and Sarah smiled as she handed Alice some iced tea before responding with " I'm one of his race and so we have been training together for the time being but i have also kept a eye on him as i felt the same waves of power that have caused his blackouts ." which got Alice's interest and so she said "What wave of power ? if i'm being nosy let me know but i don't know what's causing Adam to fall into these blackouts" and so Sarah said " OK well follow me and i'll show you what's happening " before they walked into the hallway .
The hall led to the library where Sarah then took out a book which opened up before showing a image of the book that was in the painting in the middle of the room . Sarah saw the look on Alice's face which was one of shock and awe and she said " First this is the Tome of Shadows which is one of the most searched for sources of power that the Shadow People have known about but we haven't found it yet or known where it could be but now it seems that it's emitting power waves that are affecting Adam due to his Shadow heritage " which shocked Alice as she could not understand how powerful this book might be if it was affecting her new boyfriend into being blacked out and so she said " How can he stop being affected ? i mean this must have some way of being stopped right ?" with a worried look on her face.
Sarah nodded at before patting Alice's shoulder and then said " i got some items that can suppress the waves's influence on Adam's Shadow blood which i will give him later but now let's see how he's doing " to which Alice said " sure let's go " and they were soon standing in a room with a man standing by Adam who was sleeping with a cup of liquid on a tray near his body . The man had grey hair and blue eyes with a scratch on his cheek and a smile on his face which made Alice smile too due to the cheerfulness in it which Sarah saw and so she said " Dr Maxton this is Alice who is Adam's new girlfriend i brought her due to her being worried is that OK?" to which Dr Maxton smiled and said in a pleasant voice " sure i don't see why not nice to meet you young lady " as he held out his hand .
The doctor then shook Alice's who smiled and said " back at you so how is he doing i mean i don't distrust your skills and i know that you can help him but i want to check you know ?" which made Dr Maxton chuckle before he said " it's ok but first you can call me Sam and you are right in wanting to check on him so let's see if he's awake " before tapping on Adam's shoulder two times in a gentle manner which caused the young teen to wake up and he rolled his eyes to clear anything from them before he said " Hey what's going on " as Alice smiled and kissed his lips which he returned before they broke apart at Sarah's clearing of her throat before Sam said " Alright Adam how do you feel now ?" . Adam then got up before he said " I feel good i mean i feel better than i felt the other day " with Sam saying " don't worry here's something to keep your body from blacking out again " .
Then he handed over a bottle of a reddish looking liquid which said on the bottle " Melonia S" and as he raised his eyebrow at Sam the doctor said " It's strange i know but try it when you feel the urge to black out trust me it works" before Adam said to Alice in a worried tone " Did we miss the party ? i hope not as i wanted to go " before Alice said " I'm sorry i think we did miss it but we can have our own fun " as she kissed his cheek before they headed out to the car and then Alice drove her boyfriend to his house before they plopped on the kitchen table and drank some sodas for the time being .
Once it was time for dinner Alice went home and so Adam then sat down for dinner before he then ate his food and then told his parents about his blackout and how he could suppress for them which got Kara and Luke worried but they would trust their son and so Adam finished his food before going to the den and worked on some writing before he then went to bed .
