As the weeks went by Adam was studying for his final exams while also keeping his life going and so on this day which was the final day of exams as he had gone through the last couple of exams in the last days he walked into his room and looked at his mirror on the dresser before he said to himself " I know this is going to be hard but i have to use this " as he picked up the box that contained the Blade of the Two Souls before he felt it's power and then saw the blade glowing in front of him in the box so he picked it up and placed it in his items pouch before he then got out of his room and then headed to the kitchen where Connor was sitting down in the table.
Connor said " Hey bro you ready for this ?" with a look of nervousness on his face and so Adam took some toast before putting it on his plate and said " Yeah somewhat i mean this might kill us or we'll survive so we need to be focused you know ?" with Connor nodding at him as he bit into his eggs and said after he ate his food " we need to get the team together before anything happens as we need to get our gears moving so we can be ready " before both brothers headed to their cars and as Adam headed to school he felt the icy feeling of worry in his body as he sent a mental message to Aurora.
The message went " Do you think you can fight me if you are brought back ?" with a hopeful tone that suggested that they wouldn't fight but Aurora looked sad at this and said " we will probably fight due to my former husband's insanity so if you must fight me use the blade ok ?" with Adam nodding in agreement as he heard her voice say that in his mind before he then stood at his locker and then got his books for the day as he only had a pair of exams for the day before it would be done . Once he was done with that Adam headed to the exam he had for the day which was Lunch and Chemistry which were not that hard.
It was mostly due to Lunch being just that while Chemistry was going to be easy with Adam's knowledge and so as he then sat down in the cafeteria Adam then opened a can of soda before digging into his bag or chips which were Sun Chips and so as he was doing that he was also reading his copy of " American Assassin" for the moment and so he didn't notice Alice sitting down next to him before he felt her hand on his and she whispered " I feel like i'm going to do good today on my last exam how do you feel ?" with a raised eyebrow before Adam put the book down. He then said " I don't know but i am going to do my best and see how it goes " with a smile on his face which made Alice smile .
So they relaxed for the period before they got up and then headed to the next class for the day and so as Adam sat in the Chemistry classroom he then grinned at Charlie as they sat down together and said " You ready to do this ?" with Charlie nodding and said " Of course you ready ?" with Adam smirking as well as the class came into the room and they began the exam for the next few minutes . Once they were done Adam said " I'll see you later bro OK ?" and Charlie nodded before fist bumping him and so Adam headed to meet up with Alice by her locker before he kissed her and said " How do you think you did on your exam ?" with mirth in his voice before Alice smiled back at him .
She then said " I don't think i did too bad but we'll have to see you know ?" with Adam nodding and so they headed out to the cars before driving to their houses where they dropped off their things and then got ready with Connor joining them after getting home that moment before heading to the manor where Sarah let them in and they headed to the library where they sat down and Adam said " OK what do we do now ? do we attack them or wait to see what they do now ?" with Sarah immediately deciding on something and said " We need to start this fight off so we need to attack them at their base" before she took out her phone and showed them the manor where Dante said he had been living for some time before he had left and as she said " OK we need to get in contact with Dante and see if he will be fighting with us " .
Dante then came into the room and said " I will be helping you but in return i want my fight with Adam here to happen " with Adam nodding and said " It will happen don't worry " before Dante nodded and then vanished away with the team shaking their heads . Later Adam was sitting in his room while working on his writing and so as he finished up he said " Alright let's see if you have any powers or anything " as he picked up the blade and then saw it glow before it sent him a message through his mind that said " To save Aurora you need to stab her in the heart and then my power will activate to send her to the afterlife again " which made Adam sigh in relief and so he then meditated for some moments before going to sleep .
