As the day came around the next morning Adam was sitting at the cafe that morning with Charlie and Alice sitting next to him while they were sipping some cokes and overall having a good time as they were chatting about different things and so as Adam put his drink down he then said to them " so what happened at your classes when those people attacked us ?" with Charlie swallowing some of his eggs before he said " i had your mentor helping us out cause i guess you told her about what happened ?" with Alice nodding as she said " I let her know after i got the message from you " as she pointed at her boyfriend " then she came and helped us out while i kept any other goons away from harming people " which got her a kiss on her cheek from Adam and Charlie said at that moment " I wonder what they wanted i mean from what you told us there was a renegade section of the soldiers that were apart from the ones that wanted to talk with you."
Then he sipped some of his coke before he said " so i don't think we got what their motives were " before Adam got up and then headed over to use the restroom before he came back and said " I don't know but Sarah knows probably cause here she is " as Sarah walked over to their table and nodded at them before sitting down and said " I know that that silver haired man and that woman were comrades of mine from a special section of the Shadow World's soldiers and they wanted to see you personally but they were betrayed by their soldiers and that was what led to the attack on your school " . Alice ate the rest of her food and said " so what are we going to do like are we going to talk to your friends about this ?" with Adam nodding and said " i would do it but i don't want to be attacked again you know ?" .
Sarah said " i will see if they will prevent you from being attacked and then we can talk to them OK?" with Adam nodding before they all finished their meals and then paid for the food before heading to Adam's house where the three teens made their way to the den before sitting down on the couch and watching some TV for the time being . Adam was soon feeling tired and so he laid his head on his girlfriend's lap as he fell into a short nap which was full of a dream where Adam found himself standing on what appeared to be a tower of some kind with a throne on the top and a man standing in front of him wearing a suit of armor and had black hair with silver eyes and so Adam said " Hi can i help you ?" in interest and worry .
Then the man said in a blunt and forward tone " When the time comes what will you choose sire ? the throne or the life you currently live ? be careful as this will affect you in a big way sire " before he then motioned with his hand to the throne as he said " The option to rule the Shadow World " and then made another motion to form a image of the den where Adam and his friends sat before he said " On the other hand the option to keep being who you are " and then he faded away before Adam then woke up with his phone ringing from Sarah . Groaning and rubbing his neck Adam said into the phone " Hey Sarah what's up ?" before the woman in particular said " can you meet me at the cafe in a hour unless you have something to do ?" with Adam nodding at this and said " sure can i bring Alice or is it just me you want to be there ?" before Sarah said " yeah it's OK don't worry ".
So Adam kissed his girlfriend before he asked " Can you come with me to meet with Sarah in a hour ?" with Alice nodding in agreement as she said " sure it seems that this is something important so why don't we get some food and then just relax " so both teens headed to the kitchen before they cooked some pasta from a container and then sat down before enjoying their meal . Then they headed out to the car before they stood in front of the cafe and then went in .
