As the time was moving forward Adam and his team was now getting new info from Gemma which was that Auriex was planning to use the ritual soon and so Adam told her to let them know when that will be which she said " sure thing " and now as he was stretching after his workout with Alice right next to him he said '" babe what do you think your life would be like if you had not met me ?" with a raised eyebrow which Alice smiled at before she said " I don't know but i do know i'm happy with you " as they shared a kiss before Alice got up and headed to her house to get ready for school and so as Adam was in the shower a few moment's later he was thinking to himself " The final conflict is coming up so me and the others need to be prepared " as he stepped out of the shower before he dried off.
Adam then ran his fingers down his Raven Mark on his chest with the gem in the middle of it which amused him before Adam got dressed and headed out to the kitchen table where Connor and their parents were sitting down with some pancakes . Luke looked at his son as Adam sat down for breakfast before he said " Son this conflict that you ,your team and Connor are in you think you guys will win ?" with concern in his tone before Kara nodded at this and said " I agree honey you might lose someone close to you or lose a arm or something " which Adam shook his head at .
Then he said " I'll be fine we will be preparing for this and we'll make sure we have every step done " and finished his food before grabbing his bag and headed out to his car but not before Luke said to his wife " that's what i'm worried about " while Kara nodded in agreement . As Adam and Connor walked into the school Adam said to his brother " you sure you want to help us fight Auriex and his group when the time comes?" with Connor nodding before he said " Yeah i mean i feel like it's my duty to help you know ?" as he then fist bumped his brother before heading off to his locker while Adam sighed and then opened his own locker before grabbing what he needed for his classes .
At the same time Alice was closing her locker door before she said to herself " I wonder if there's going to be any attacks on some locations " as she grabbed Adam's hand and said " hey babe you ok ?" with Adam nodding as he plugged in one of his earbuds and said " yeah just thinking about stuff " as they walked to their earlier classes . The time came for Adam's chemistry class where he then sat in the classroom and then opened his notebook to study for the test that was coming up when Charlie sat down and said " you seem worried dude you OK ?" before Adam glared at him playfully and said " Yes dude i'm fine i'm just thinking about stuff " which made Charlie snort before he said " sure dude if you want to tell me what you're thinking let me know OK ?" as the class began.
Then for the next hour Adam was looking through his notes and answering questions till the bell rang with Adam and Charlie heading to their lockers to get what they needed for their classes in the afternoon . Later that day as Adam was heading to the workout room after his classes were done he stopped and saw Alice walking towards him with a cheerful look in her eyes and so he asked " what's going on babe ?" with surprise in his voice before Alice smiled and kissed him as she said " well i was wondering if i can work out with you ? i mean this could be something we could do together you know ?" and Adam smiled back at her before he kissed her forehead and said " sure i don't have a problem with that " .
So as Alice got changed into her workout clothes she met her boyfriend at the bench with the weights on it before she sat down and Adam said " OK babe i'm going to be watching you to make sure you don't get hurt OK ?" which Alice nodded at before gripping the bar and then lifted it as Adam kept watching her for the time being before she was done . Once she was done Adam then did his workout on the bar before he then moved to the weights and picked up two twenty pound ones and did his session with them . The time went by and so Adam and Alice used the machines together while talking about different things before they got dressed and headed to their cars .
Adam then kissed his girlfriend and said " I'll see you later babe " with Alice smiling at him before she sat in her car and drove home which Adam did too before he sat down and worked on his homework for the next hour before he then worked on his writing as well until it was dinner time . After dinner Adam was talking to his team and said "Guys keep a eye out for anything that seems out of the ordinary you know in the sense that any attacks or events happen and so we'll see what will happen " which Alice , Sarah, and Gemma replied to with "Sure thing " and so they talked some more about their training schedule some more before they had to go do things and Adam headed to bed but not before seeing Aurora in his mind with a worried look on her face .
