As Adam stood in front of the man who was claimed to be his grandfather he then shook his head as he said " So what can i call you i mean you're not my grandfather at least in personality so what do you call yourself now ?" with a stern yet curious tone in his voice and the man shook his hair back before saying in a deep and cold sounding voice " My name is Draiux and you are right i may be your grandfather but now i serve Lord Auriex " as he dashed towards Adam with his scythe out before Adam formed a sword which he used to block the attack and then knock Draiux back before slashing his chest open which caused a little bit of blood to pour out of the wound . Draiux growled to himself before shaking his head as his eyes glowed for a moment with black and red light.
He then threw his scythe out in a arc to try and strike Adam but the young man rolled to the side and then leaped into the air before attempting to stab the cloaked man in the torso which was unfortunately for Adam blocked and so he was thrown away as Adam then formed a crossbow with darts in it and then took aim before firing two shots at Draiux's legs . The darts struck Dariux's legs which caused them to fall to the ground as he had struck their weak points before Adam walked forward and then formed his gauntlets before punching his grandfather in the face a few times while at the same time feeling great pain and regret for doing it . Once that was done Adam then said " Go and recover and in the meantime i will see if there's anything that can free you ".
Dariux then said in a more normal tone which seemed to signify he was coming back to his senses " I hope you can do it " as he flew through the air in his smoke form before Adam sighed and ran his fingers down his hair as he walked into the house and said to his parents " Guess who attacked me ?" with Luke asking " was it someone from Auriex's forces ?" before Adam said " Nope it was Grandpa it seems he's under mind enslavement spell or something " which got Luke and Kara looking devastated before Adam replied " I'll see if there's any way to get him free now i'm going to bed " . Later that night Adam was asleep but at the same time he was thinking " So i'll talk to Sarah about this and see if she can help " before he then fell into the deep abyss of sleep for the night .
That next morning around 5 in the morning Adam got up and then went into the kitchen before making some coffee for himself as well as pulling out a bagel and then heated it up before he toasted it and at that moment Kara walked into the room and asked " You OK sweetheart ?" with a worried tone in her voice as she watched her son pour his coffee while spreading cream cheese on his bagel . Adam turned to his mother and said " i don't know i'm just thinking that's all " in a confused tone as he sat down and began to eat his food for the moment with Kara sitting next to him and looking at him while he was thinking . Kara eventually got up before kissing his head and said " If you want to talk me and your father are here for you " as she left before Adam finished his coffee and bagel before heading to the bedroom to get changed.
After that Adam then headed to the weight room before he then sat down on the bench as his phone played " Power " by Kanye for the next few minutes while he was lifting the bar and focusing on this task . Alice knocked on the door before Luke said with a smile " Alice nice to see you for today please come in Adam's working out in the weight room but i don't think he would be not happy to see you " and so with a smile on her face the redhead walked to the weight room and said to Adam " hey babe how you doing today ?" before Adam finished his time with the bar and then got up before kissing his girlfriend and said " Well last night i was attacked by my grandpa and now i want to try and find a way to save him" which got him a kiss on the cheek .
Then Alice whispered " I'll help you in any way i can " which made the young man smile and so he finished up with his workout before they were sitting down at the cafe in the next few minutes sipping some coffee and eating two muffins . Then they finished their food and then headed home before Adam finished his writing and then went to dinner before going to bed .
