The day before the trip came and so Adam was now in school at his locker getting mentally prepared for it while at the same time being somewhat afraid of what will happen and so as he opened his locker and took out the books and items he needed for his classes he was also listening to some " All The Stars " which was from the Black Panther soundtrack and so he put his books in his bag before closing the door and then saw Alice looking worried about something and so he asked " are you OK babe? you seem tense and worried about something " before the redhead sighed and let her tension flow out of her as he caressed her cheek while she said in a tired tone " Yeah just had a bad dream last night where i saw you die somehow and i was unable to stop it " which made Adam sigh in worry as he kissed her forehead .
Adam then said " if this keeps happening come talk to me OK ? i will help you in any way i can " as they walked to their classes for the day. The day was soon over for the morning and so as Adam walked out to the locker to drop off his books and grab his books for his final set of classes he suddenly fell to the ground as he saw Dante stand in front of him with what appeared to be the Scythe or Despair and the Sword of Destruction and so he asked as he got to his feet " what are you here for and are you in my mind or in front of me ?" before Dante smirked and said " That doesn't matter all you need to know is that our time is coming soon and you'll be forced to show me your strength !" as he punched Adam across the hallway into a classroom and so Adam got up and groaned at the same time before he said " Crap he means to really hurt me ".
So then he formed a sword at that moment and charged forward before meeting Dante's blade with his own sword. They clashed their blades together while ignoring the other students that were watching with interest before Charlie came forward and said " Bro what's going on !" with Adam grunting " stay back he's mine " as he grabbed Dante's chest and slashed him twice which inflicted a strong wound on there so Dante pushed Adam back before he said " You got what it takes so keep it up and our fight will soon be Grand !" as he vanished away while Charlie helped Adam up and led him away . Charlie and Adam then sat down in the nurse's office as the nurse who was in charge for now a blonde haired woman named Nurse Smith said " what happened ?" in a worried tone before Adam said " some guy attacked me i mean i'm OK but i want to see if i got hurt you know ?" with Charlie nodding at his friend .
So then Nurse Smith looked him over before she said " you're alright so now i will write you a pass to your next class " and handed him a pass with her signature on it before Adam nodded and they headed to their next classes . Adam was soon opening his locker and getting his things for working on his homework when Alice came up to him and asked " you OK? i heard from Connor who was told by Charlie that you were attacked " and Adam sighed in relief at her touch before he said " yeah the other half of me attacked me and intends for us to fight which i don't know if that will happen yet " before both teens headed out to his car and were soon sitting in his den working on their homework . Adam rubbed his chest where he had been punched earlier and said " man that guy could fight " before Alice said " you need anything babe ? i mean i could get you something if you want ".
But Adam smiled and kissed her hand as he said in a appreciative voice " It's OK but i do appreciate it babe thank you " which Alice smiled back at him for and then they finished their work before Alice was pulled onto his lap ad she snuggled into Adam's lap as he ran his fingers through her hair while he said " You do want to come with me to the Shadow World right ? i mean if you don't want to i understand but it would be nice if you came " with Alice smiling again and said " yeah it's be great to have a small vacation together but we have to let school know about this " which Adam nodded at before he took out his phone and texted Sarah with " Two questions : one . it's OK if Alice came with me on our trip right ? " before he then squeezed Alice's hand.
Then Adam continued with "2 . You know we should alert school before me and Alice go with you right?" before Adam got up and headed to the kitchen before pouring them some coffee and they sat at the table while talking about their classes and lives so far . Eventually they finished their drinks and then Adam asked " do you want to go for a drive and see where we go ?" with Alice smiling and nodding at the same time before they both sat in the car and as Adam turned on his phone it played " Nothing Without You" by The Weeknd which was a great song in his opinion and Alice smiled as he was softly singing the words to himself which she began to do as well and Adam looked at her in surprise but said to himself " this is nice i love her voice right now " .
They were soon stopping at the park where they got out of the car and then walked around the park with their hands together and so they sat down at the bench before Adam said " so what are you most hoping for when we go to the Shadow World ?" and Alice thought about it for a moment before she said " getting to see where you might have grown up and spending more time with you " which earned her a kiss from her boyfriend who said " any time i spend with you is worth the drama we go through " and they let the cool air hit their face . That night Adam got his things ready before he then finished his writing and then as he was about to go to sleep Kara and Luke stood in his room to talk to him .
Kara then said " Honey i know this will improve your skills and knowledge but at the same time it will change you and i don't want you to be changed in a bad way you know ?" with Luke nodding and said " I agree with your mother so promise us you won't be corrupted or change in a horrible way as we don't want you to be hateful towards us or something " Adam hugged them and said " I won't be changed in any bad ways i promise " before he then went to sleep .
