While Adam was learning about who he was at the same time at the big house near the end of the block Cain was walking through his bedroom looking at the different artifacts and books he had collected over the years of being a Shadow Being and so as he picked up a small pendant with a black and grayish stone in the middle he said to himself " I wonder if a certain family member of mine knows how important he is to the order of things " as he then looked it over before he turned around and saw his third in command Matt Kingston walk into the room and then saluted him before he said " What do you want us to do now sir i mean we have just gotten back news about Kai's test for Adam Scott and so i was wondering how we should move on now ?" with Cain thinking about it for a moment.
A second moment passed before he said " let;s keep low for now and have our heads to the ground to see if anything happens that we can use to our advantage besides i have news about the young man " before Matt said " so what's so special about this kid i mean i know that he's related to you somehow but is he really this important ?" before Cain smirked in a amused manner and said " He is very special due to him being the first born prince of the Shadow People and so if he chooses he is able to rule over the other members but he doesn't know if he is up to it yet so i want to keep a eye on him so i can see how he lives his life so far as well as see how my other family members had taught him and raised him as well " before he left the room and then looked over at the book that was sitting on the podium in the corner by his bed .
Raising a eyebrow he flipped through it before seeing a note on the cover which read " Cain you might not know this but the Tome has been found and we were thinking of seeing what will happen if Adam Scott was to be near it what would you say to that ?" which did make him wonder about that and so he thought to himself " Let's make the daily events more interesting " as he then headed into the kitchen to make some food for himself due to being hungry. After he had a plate of food in front of him Cain said to his second in command Nathan who had brown hair and blue eyes " OK i was thinking of going out to that bar that we been to before and find out anything that we can use for our search for the Tome as even though it's been found we don't know where to get it you know ?" with Nathan nodding as he swallowed some juice .
Once he was done Nathan said " Got it boss so when should we go out ?" which Cain shook his head at and said in response " How about in a few minutes ? does that sound good ?" with Nathan nodding his head in agreement while Matt said " that sounds good too " and they then finished their food before getting out of the room . Cain grabbed his boots before putting them on and then took out his phone before texting " Hey Jake can we meet at the Bar soon ?" and then headed out to his bike which was a small gem in the middle of the bike that was red and glowing and so as he touched the gem it made the bike's wheels glow for a moment before he then drove down the street and soon was parking in the parking spot he had used for his time in the bar.
A few minutes later he met up with his team who were also parking in a spot and then they walked into the bar before Cain smiled at the bartender who was a grey haired man with a scar on his forehead and a tattoo on his cheek of a cross and then walked up to him before fist bumping him and said " Hey man what's up Jake ?" before Jake grinned back at him and said " Not much got your message earlier can i get you a drink ?" with Cain nodding and asking his team " what do you guys want ?" before they told in their orders . Jake made the orders before standing across from Cain who sipped some of the beer he had ordered before said " So what can i do for you bro ? i haven't seen you in some time and i thought you were pretty busy" with Cain swallowing his beer in the next moment .
Then he was replying " I was wondering if you knew where the Tome of Shadows was or if you heard where it had been seen or found ?" before Jake frowned in worry as he said " That's a book of darkness Cain i don't want to see you get corrupted or get hurt or something you know ?" with Cain shaking his head and said in return " I know man but i know it's essential to my goals so i'll make sure i can handle it " as he thought in his mind of the skills he had which had one of them being the mastery of resisting dark influences. Jake then said " i don't know where it is but i can give you a list of informants that could find it for you " which Cain nodded at before he swallowed some beer . Once that was done Cain went to the alley to get some fresh air before he was encountering some drunk annoyances who said " Hey there give us your money or valuables ".
Cain then smirked in a cold way and then drew his scythe before slaughtering them in a gruesome manner with slashes designed to kill. They were then heading back to the manor where Cain sat down with his notebook and then wrote down " So i now know that the Tome is in the world but i don't know where so i'll keep looking for it as well as keep a eye on Adam " before he then got up and then headed to the kitchen for some food before he then went to bed due to being tired from the day's events.
