On the day before Adam and his team was to go back to their world they wee excited to head back but at the same time they were sad about leaving here as they had a good time and so as they were planning to have one last day of fun while also planning on getting anything that could help them have a better chance of fighting back against anyone who wanted to hurt them and so they got out of their rooms that morning after getting changed and then Adam said as they sat in the diner for food " so what are we going to do for today ? i mean is there any shops or stores we can go to for anything that could help us when we're being attacked at home ?" which Sarah thought about as she sipped her coffee with some places in her mind coming up .
So she said " well there's a place down the street from us that we could check out and i know of a plaza of stores that we could also see how about that ?". Adam was then looking over at his girlfriend before he kissed her cheek and said " sure i don't have a problem with that how about you babe ?" with Alice nodding in agreement as she took a bite of her pancakes and said "i would like to see if there's anything cool around here " and so they ate their food for the next few minutes before they paid and headed out to the car where they were soon driving to the store that was down the street . The store was nice and medium sized with a sign in the window that said " Lots of items here !" and so they parked before heading inside .
Inside the store there seemed to be a lot of items ranging from books and weapons to clothing and accessories and so Adam went his own way while the ladies went their own way as well for the time being with the young man heading to the books to see what there was to check out . As he reached the books he saw there was coloring books and guide books to the different places and people of the Shadow World as well as picture books too and so Adam walked through the rows before he saw a book that looked interesting and so he picked it up before he read the cover which read " The beasts and creatures of the Shadow World " and on the cover was two creatures with the one on the left being a dangerous and wolfish looking creature with black and silver fur and dark red eyes on it's snout .
This was combined with what looked like a merciless and dark gaze in it's eyes along with sharp and dangerous looking claws on it's paws while the other beast was a big and ferocious lion like animal with dark red fur and what seemed to be dark energy coming out of it's mouth which seemed to be implicative of a ability to breath the energy that was coming out which amazed Adam and so he then went into the book and sat down as he read it for the time being with the amount of info in the book convincing him to get it and so he also got a book on the legendary and famous beings of the Shadow People before he headed to the counter and said " Hi I'd like to pay for these please ?" with the young girl behind the counter smiling at him and nodded before she said " sure thing let me ring these up for you ".
Adam took out some money that Sarah had gave him earlier in the day before he gave the correct amount and then he said " have a good day " with the woman smiling back at him before he saw Alice and Sarah walking up to him . Alice asked " hey babe what' d you get ?" with interest in her tone and so Adam took out his books before he showed them and Sarah smiled in interest too before she said " good choices those will give you a lot of info that could help us in our mission" as she took out some clothes she had picked out before going up to the counter while Alice showed her boyfriend some cool accessories that she wanted and Adam said " Great choices those will look good on you " as he kissed her cheek and they waited for Sarah to get paid .
Once that was done they then walked to other shops and looked into them for the day before they wanted to go home with the group finding nothing new and so Adam said " let's go see if there's other places for food is that cool ?" with Sarah and Alice nodding as they wanted to go to other places for dinner before they had to go to the hotel and so they went to the small deli that they had gone to when they came to the Shadow World and then they walked in and then ordered their food before sitting down while they waited . Adam asked Sarah " In this book i saw these two creatures on the cover that look worrying do you know them?" as he took out the book and then showed it to her before she said " Yeah they're known as a Shadow Wolf and a Dark Lion which are very tough to harm but with enough power they can be killed so don't worry about that"
She then stopped as their food came " plus they can't be in the other world but only in this one so you won't be finding yourself against them anytime soon " as they ate their food a while later . Adam nodded and said " well i hope to be able to read this as it's got a lot of info which could be good for us" as they then paid for the food and headed back to the hotel before they went to their separate rooms and Adam soon fell asleep after getting his things together .
