The day had come and so as Adam and his friends got their stuff together in the morning he said to his girlfriend " I'm going to miss this place you know? i mean we were only here for some short time but we got a lot of things done as well " which Alice smiled at and said " yeah we did but i also want to get home and see our friends " which Adam nodded at and then he kissed her forehead before they then met up with Sarah who was paying for their stay and then they headed out to the garage before they paid for the car and headed to the portal where they waited for a while before Sarah said " you guys ready to go home ?" with a smile on her face which Adam nodded his head at and Alice smiled happily as the portal opened up and they were soon standing at the small area where the portal was located .
So as they headed back to the jeep Sarah hopped into the front seat and then turned on the car before driving to the diner for breakfast as they were hungry and on the way there Adam turned on his phone and saw that there were a lot of messages from his parents and brother as well as some from Charlie and so he sent back to each of them " I'm fine me and Alice are back home and so is Sarah so i'll tell you about it later " as the car was parked in the parking spot before they all headed into the diner and were shown to a booth . Adam opened his menu before he looked through the meals for the next few minutes and as he did this Alice leaned her hand on his shoulder before she did the same thing with her menu as she was pretty hungry while Sarah was sending a text to Layla about their trip .
But then the waitress came over and said " Hi can i get you three some drinks ?" with Adam nodding as he looked at his friends before Sarah said " sure i'll take a Coke please " with the other two teens giving in their orders before the waitress went to get the drinks and so Adam asked " so what will we be doing now as we get back to our routines ?" before Sarah said " we need to amp the training up as i don't know what will be coming for you so we'll meet with Layla and see what she thinks" before the drinks were given to them and the three young adults gave in their orders . Adam headed out of the booth to the bathroom before he would do anything else and so as he stood in the middle of the bathroom washing his hands he then saw his eyes turn black and Dante's face come forward from the darkness in the mirror with a smirk on his face.
So he asked " What can i do for you Mr medium dark and creepy ?" with a sarcastic tone in his voice before Dante shook his head as he said " Just wanted to see how stronger you've gotten as i am hoping for our fight to be the best we can make it !" as he suddenly shot out of the mirror and stood in front of Adam who smirked and said " oh it will just you wait " which indicated he felt something positive with Dante but he didn't know what so he said " you keep getting stronger and i'll do my way " as he walked out of the room with Dante smirking in return . The food was in front of Adam as he sat down and he said " nothing much happened " to Alice as she raised her eyebrow before they dug into their food and Adam turned to Sarah as he asked " so do you have any idea of what this means ?" as he held up his hand and showed off the ring .
Sarah swallowed some of her eggs and bacon before she said " i don't really know but i'll ask your parents or Layla OK ?" with Adam nodding before they finished their food a few moments later and they paid for the food before going to the gas station as Sarah needed to get some gas and so as they stood outside the station Alice wrapped her arms around Adam's shoulders before he kissed her and said " did you enjoy our trip to the Shadow World ?" with the young woman smiling before she kissed his cheek and said " i did as i got to spend more time with you and i was able to develop myself in a good way" which Adam smiled at and then they finished their food before heading out to the jeep and then Adam got out before kissing Alice and said " i'll see you later babe " which she returned before he headed into his house and then sat down on his bed before he took a short nap due to being tired for some time .
Later as Adam headed to the den he then opened his laptop before he then began doing some writing for the time being until it was time for dinner . Adam sat down for dinner with his family before Connor asked " so how was the trip? did anything good happen to you ?" with Adam nodding and said " yeah a lot of things happen but i'll tell you later " with Connor nodding in understanding before they finished their food . Later that night Adam and Connor were playing some PS4 for the moment when Adam said " so basically me and Alice did some training and i was also attacked by this woman who seemed obsessed with getting this " as he held out his hand and showed his brother his ring which Connor raised his eyebrow at.
Then Connor said " that looks cool but it must be something important you know ?" before Adam nodded and said " yeah but i'll ask Mom and Dad later if they know anything about it " before he headed to the bathroom to take a shower and then go to bed .
