The next morning Adam was woken from his sleep by the sound of Alice knocking on his door and so as he got up with his shirt off showing his muscled body and the only clothing being his pants Adam headed to the door before he then opened the door and said to his girlfriend " What's up? does Sarah need us for anything ?" with Alice leering at her boyfriend's body for a moment before she said " No i was wondering if you wanted to go get some food with me and Sarah ? i understand if you wanted to sleep in but you know food is good too " with Adam chuckling at the sentence before he said " sure thing babe i would love some food so let's go wake Sarah and then we can go out " as he got dressed and then headed over to Sarah's room which she was sharing with Alice.
After he opened the door Adam asked " Yo Sarah time to get up if you want some food " which the young woman groaned at and said " alright let me get my head together " and then she grabbed her clothes before getting dressed and then said " so where do you guys want to do for breakfast ?" with Alice shrugging and said in return " what is there here besides the deli ?" with Sarah thinking it over for the next few minutes before she thought of a place and said " Follow me you two " and in a moment she led them into a nice looking brown and bluish colored building with lots of food pictures on the walls as well as some people working the counter and so as they stood in the lobby Adam said " So what is this place a diner of some kind ?" with Sarah nodding before she said " yeah your parents cam here when they were dating for the most part " .
A man with a all black attire said as he walked over to them " Hey there my name is Cardok and i'll be your waiter for today now if you will follow me please " and they sat down at the booth that they were shown to before Adam asked " so what do i want ?" to himself as he picked the menu up before looking through it and decided to get some eggs and toast for the morning as his girlfriend and mentor had chosen their food as well and so they gave their orders to the waiter before Adam closed his eyes and sighed in exhaustion. The food was brought to them soon and so Adam took a bite of his food while sighing in relief at the food being good before he said to the ladies " How do you feel about your food so far ?".
Alice was now smiling at her boyfriend before she said " it's good i like the food they got here so far it's kind like how we have food at home why is that ?" as she looked at Sarah who swallowed her coffee before saying " Your ancestors sometimes took trips to the Mortal World and brought new influences to our home and so that's how we have food and other influences from your adopted world " which Adam and Alice nodded at before they finished their food and Adam got out of the booth before heading to the bathroom and as he walked into the bathroom he was washing his hands as he still had some syrup from his pancakes on there and was now walking out of there before he saw a young woman looking at him with intent on her face .
So he walked over to her and asked " Can i help you Mrs ?" with the woman smiling at him before she said in a warm voice " Just saw that you look like someone my parents know that's all " with Adam nodding before he said " sure well maybe i'll see you around " as he headed over to his booth before sitting down and sipping on his coffee while the ladies were finishing their food and so Sarah took out some coins and dollars that were placed in the table before they got up and headed out to the front of the restaurant before Sarah asked " so what do you guys want to do now ?" with Alice suggesting " maybe we can walk around and see what's there to do for fun ?" and Adam nodded which Sarah smiled at before she said " Let's go " .
Sarah led the two teens through the streets to a small bookstore that looked medium and homely looking and so they walked into the store before they looked around with interest in their eyes and so Sarah then said " Go ahead walk around and see if there's anything that catches your eye" with Adam going through the racks and finding two books on enhancing a Shadow Being's skills with forming new weapons and he picked them up before he read through them to see if they were worth buying . Once he was done checking them out Adam decided to get them and so he walked up to the counter before he said " I'd like to pay for these please ?" with the man nodding and said " sure thing it'll be 20 Drakions
So Sarah handed over some money for Adam to give and so the man gave the young man the change before they walked over to the door and waited for Alice to pay as well . Once they were out of the store Adam asked " so is there any cool places to go see or do you guys want to go back to the hotel ?" with Alice suggesting " let's go see if there's any places that could train us you know ?" with Sarah nodding at that and said " I know a place follow me " and in the next few minutes they stood in front of a building with black coloring on the front as well as a sign that said " Jakiux's Shadow Training " and so they walked into the building before they saw a man standing in front of a mat with no one in front of them .
So Sarah said " Jakiux is that you bro ?" with the man smiling and shaking her hand as he said " Yup it's me man Sarah i haven't seen you in a while and is that HIS son ?" before motioning to Adam who nodded and held out his hand as he said " Yeah i'm the son of the former king nice to meet you " as he shook Jakiux's hand . Jakiux said " so what can i do for you guys ?" with Sarah said " We were wondering if we could get some training for these two here if you can do it ?" with Jakiux saying " sure thing why don't we get them warming up and then i'll see what they got . "
