Danny rushed over in a panic. He didn't know what was going on, all he knew was some man had Jessica.

Jackson came downstairs and quietly unlocked the front door so Danny could bust threw to Jessica's aid.

"Okay it's bed time you three!"

"No, I don't think so!" Arabella says.

"You are going to get it, little girl!"

"Nope! You not gonna get me, I not going to bed and this man Not going to be my new daddy!"

"What? Sofia!" Jessica sharply turns towards her.

"I didn't say anything!" Sofia lifts her hands.

"Arabella, I'm not trying to take your daddy's place.. your mother and I our just friends."

"Her names mommy." Arabella gives him a blank stare.

"Lies, Sam!" Sofia says catching him by surprise.

"I saw you and my mom kissing outside on the porch!"

Arabella gasps loudly.
"What! You mean old giant man!" She screams before kicking him and punching hard with her little fists.

"Arabella!" Jessica shouts as Danny runs into the house in a panic.

"JESSICA! JESS, ARE YOU OKAY?!"

"Danny?!" Jessica's eyes go wide.

"Jessica! Oh my God, you're okay! What did he do? Are you hurt?" Danny gets on his knees in front of the couch and pats her down, inspecting her body.

"Danny, what are you talking about?"

Danny was so relieved Jessica was okay. He held her tight and laid on her chest as he sobbed loudly.

"Danny, what's going on with you?"

"Jackson called me and said some man..." Danny pauses when he opens his eyes and sees Sam.

"What's he doing here?"

"He came early."

"Was it you? Did you hurt her!" Danny stands up and looks down on Sam.

"I don't even know what you're talking about, man." Sam lifts his hands in defense.

"Besides, you're the one that hurts her, Not me."

"Oh don't start that!"

"Danny stop!  Both of you stop it!  No one hurt me.... Jackson, what did you tell your father?" Jessica asks.

"I uh.. I mixed up?"

"Alright. I know what all of you are up to. Sam, I am so so sorry for the way my kids have behaved. I'm sorry that my daughter beat the hell out of you-"

"I'll do it again!" Arabella says punching her little fists in Sam's direction.

"Heh.. that's my girl." Danny mumbles.

"I'm sorry about everything."

"It's fine.. I should have told you I was coming.. Maybe would saved myself from a beating.."

"Leaving so soon?!" Sofia fakes being upset.

Jessica gives her a look.
"Come on, Sam. I'll walk you out."

Jessica and Sam walk over to his car and Jessica apologizes again.

"Sam, I'm so embarrassed.. I feel so horrible for the way my kids treated you, and I'm sorry you can't stay here tonight."

"Jessie, it's okay. They're just kids.. I'm the big meany keeping their mommy and daddy from being together.

"I'm sorry." Jessica pouts.

"Stop apologizing! I said it's okay."

Jessica hugs him and lays on his chest.
They stay this way for a while before Sam kisses her head and rubs her back.

"I'll let you get back to them before they come out to hurt me."

"Sam!" Jessica laughs.

"I'll see ya." Sam kisses her softly.

"Bye.."

Jessica sighed and walked back and sat on the porch.

"The way Danny reacted when he thought I was in danger shows how much he truly cares about me.. he was sobbing into my chest when he realized I was okay.. Ugh!  Why does that big dummy care anyway!  I can't be mad at him for coming over in such a panic.. at least I know he were to be here for me if I really did need him.

While Jessica was in her thoughts Danny came out and sat beside her.

"Jess, I'm sorry for coming over here like that.. but when Jax told me that you were in danger.. my heart about stopped.
If anything were to happen to you.. I don't know what I'd do with myself.  I love you so much and I'd die if anything bad were to happen."

Jessica looked down and continued listening.

"I hurt you Jessica Lange.. and you know how sorry I am.
We may not be together anymore.. but I was and Always will be.. so damn crazy about you." Danny places his hand on hers and kisses the top of her head before he walks to his car and drives off.

Jessica cried silently with her head down until Danny drove off.  When he left her cries became louder.  If doing the right thing hurt so badly, was it really the right thing to do in the first place?
