Hours have past and Jessica's heart was still beating strong. Unfortunately, the doctors said it was just a matter of time before she passed.
The kids all said goodbye and left with Danny's parents.
"I'm staying with you, Jessie. I'm not gonna leave you, beautiful." Danny kisses the back of her hand.
"Daniel, do you need us to bring you anything?" Dorothy asked.
"No, I have a bag packed. Thank you though."
"You're welcome." Dorothy then takes a deep breath and says, "I know we've had our differences.. but thank you for loving my daughter."
"Of course. She's my Princess."
Dorothy nods then looks down to Jessica and kisses her cheek. "I love you, my Jessie girl.
.. Goodnight, Danny."
"Goodnight."
Danny then laid in the bed with Jessica's body close to his.
"I know your story isn't over. Keep fighting. I'm here.. keep fighting."

"I don't know what to do, I don't know where I am!" Jessica cried as she ran through a field.
The field was so beautiful. There were horses around, and great big beautiful trees. But Jessica was afraid. She was lost.
"Sweetie.."
"Where am I? Am I dead?"
"No sweetie."
"Nana?"
"Yes." The woman chuckled.
"What's happening? The last thing I remember, I was taking Cole to therapy and then.. oh no, is my baby okay?!"
"He's fine, honey! Don't you remember hearing him speak to you? Didn't you feel his kisses?"
"Oh yeah.." Jessica smiled softly.
"Wait.. they were saying goodbye. Nana, I don't want to die! I want to be with my family!" Jessica cried.
"That's why I'm here. Honey, it's not your time."
"How do I get back?"
The woman laughed and said, "Just open your eyes, darling. Your man is waiting for you.. open your eyes and give him a great big kiss! He's messed up, believe me, I know! I have seen everything! But he's a keeper." She smiled.
"Will I be okay?"
She sighs and says, "Getting back to where you were won't be easy. But with Danny and your kids by your side, you'll pull through. Now go on honey.."
"I love you, Nana. I've missed you so much!" Jessica hugs her grandmother.
"I'm always with you." She smiles. "So watch your language, young lady!" She taps her butt.
Jessica laughs. "I will! I promise."
Her grandmother smiles and cups her cheeks.
"Now.. open your eyes, sweet girl. Open your eyes.."

Danny looked down when he heard low moaning coming from Jessica, who was currently in his arms.
"Jessie?! JESSICA!" He shouted her name.
Jessica moved around and slowly opened her eyes.
"Jessica!" Danny smiled.
"D—D.." Jessica tried to speak but couldn't.
"It's okay! Don't speak.. I'm just so happy you're awake! They told me you wouldn't wake up and here you are!" He cries.
"You're awake! You're alive, baby! I can't believe it, this is such a miracle! You are a miracle, Angel!
I love you so so much!"
Danny holds Jessica's cheeks and kisses her lips.
He then relaxes and holds her in his arms.
Jessica reaches up and holds his cheek. She looks at his beard and gently caresses it.
"Oh.. heh! I haven't shaved in the last two months."
Jessica smiled very softly and Danny held her tighter.
"You're awake! I love you.. I love you SO much!"
Jessica placed her hand on Danny's heart then smiled up to him.
Danny knew that was her way of saying she loved him too.

This story is almost over! I've been going back and forth. I wasn't sure if I should give them a happy ending or not... I think I've finally made my decision:)
