"Dad! The door!" Sofia shouts.
"Why don't you see who it is, Sof? I'm a little busy." Danny says cleaning up a mess the twins mess.
"Fine!" Sofia groans.
She then walks over and opens the door. She was met with a tall police officer.
"Yes?" Sofia said in a small voice.
"Hello, little girl. Is your daddy home?"
"Yes sir.. DADDY!" She shouts.
Danny walks over to the front door.
"Oh! Hello.. is everything okay, officer?"
The officer looks down to Sofia.
"Uh Sof, why don't you go check on your brothers? Make sure they aren't getting into anything."
"Okay." She shrugs.
"Is everything okay?" Danny asks once again.
"I'm afraid not.. There's been an accident."
"An accident? Jessica and Coltan? Are they— Are they okay? Are they alive?"
"Your son and wife have both been rushed to the hospital. I cannot tell you their condition, you will have to wait until the doctor speaks with you."
"What?! They're MY family, you tell me right now!" Danny raises his voice.
"Sir, please calm down."
"I have to get to the hospital. I need to call someone to watch them."
The officer then tells him exactly where they are before he leaves.
Danny called his sister to come and stay with the kids. Once she was there, he left.
So many thoughts ran through his mind. He didn't even know if his wife and son were alive. He has never felt so sick in his whole life.
As Danny drove, the radio played quietly.

He thought back to all the hurt he has caused Jessica. All of the sadness he brought into her life.
He thought about Coltan. He's so young. This couldn't be happening.

Jessie.. oh my Jessie!" Danny sobs. "Please please hang on. I need you! I need you both! Jessica.. my beautiful beautiful angel. I cannot lose you!" Danny says loudly. "DON'T LEAVE ME!"

Danny ran in demanding answers. He needed to know what was going on right now. Unfortunately no one was saying a thing.
"I don't understand this! My wife and child are hurt! I need to know what is going on, RIGHT NOW!"
"Sir, the Doctor will be out to speak with you soon. I cannot give out that information."
"Are. They. Alive?!"
"I cannot answer that, sir. I'm so sorry."
Danny banged his fist on the counter and walked away. He took a seat in the waiting room and pulled out his phone.
There it was. Pictures of the accident. So many people sent him these messages. It was now all over the internet.
Danny then dropped his phone and buried his face in his hands. The vehicle was totaled. He couldn't believe this was happening to him. To his family.
