When they got home, they couldn't wait to tell the kids that their little sister was finally coming home.
"Mommy! Daddy! How's the baby?!" Sofia smiles big.
"She's perfect! There's something we need to tell you. Where's your brother?"
"He's in the play room, you want me to go get him?"
"No, it's okay, we can go up there."
They go upstairs and all sit down.
"Your mom and I have some extremely exciting news to share with you two."
"Tell us!" Sofia bounces with excitement.
"Okay... The day after your birthday.. Arabella gets to come home." Jessica smiles.
Sofia's mouth drops and tears start pouring down her face.
Jackson gets excited, but Sofia's reaction was priceless.
"My baby sister's coming home?"
"Yes." Jessica smiles, nods and wipes her own tears away.
"Oh my gosh!" She throws herself on Jessica and hugs her tight.
"Thank you!"
"Awe sweetie, you're so sweet.." Jessica rubs her back.
"I didn't think she would ever come home." She sits on Jessica's lap and looks down as she covers her face with her hand.
"But she is.. everything's okay.. It's all okay." Jessica says with a smile, as she runs her hand through Sofia's hair.
Sofia looks at her and smiles, before she hugs her tight again.

The next morning.
"Happy Birthday, Sofia!!" Jessica wakes her up.
Sofia rubs her eyes and sits up in her bed.
"My baby girl is eight years old today! Where has the time gone?" She kisses her cheek and gives her a hug.
Sofia smiles and says, "Arabella's coming home tomorrow!"
It warmed Jessica's heart to hear that on her birthday, the first thought she had in her mind, and the first words out of her mouth were about her baby sister.
"Yes she is, sweetheart." Jessica smiles and cups her chin in her hand.
After breakfast, they went over to the hospital for a little while to check on the baby.
They asked if they could bring the kids with them, and the doctor said it would be okay.
All of the nurses wished Sofia a happy birthday, they sang to her, bought her presents and even made her a cake.
Danny and Jessica had spent months hours there that it was like they were family now.
"Arabella, it's your big sisters birthday today!" Jessica smiles.
"Do you want to hold her, Sof?"
"Yes!" She smiles big and her eyes light up.
Jessica hands her the baby and Sofia gets tears in her eyes.
"Hi Bella! You're so perfect!"
Jessica looks at Danny with tears in her eyes, as he smiles at her and wraps his arm around her.
"This is the best birthday present I have ever gotten... Thank you." She looks up and smiles at Danny and Jessica.
"You're welcome, sweet girl. You are such a good girl.. You have the kindest heart in the world. I love you so so much."
Jessica kneels down, brushes the hair out of her face, and kisses her forehead.
"I love you too, mommy." She smiles.
Jessica looks down at the baby and smiles.
"You're pretty good with her. I think she likes you."
"I think so too, look at how calm she is." Danny says.
Sofia smiles and Jessica says, "Now I know I have another little helper! Ready to change some diapers?"
"Well maybe not that." Sofia laughs.
"Haha, well that's okay. But you can help with the fun stuff. She's so lucky to have a big sister like you." Jessica twirls Sofia's hair with her finger.
"Thank you." She smiles at her.
Before they leave to go to Sofia's birthday party, Jessica tells the nurses, "I have something to tell you all.. you're gonna think I'm crazy, but it was not planned at all. However, we are happy..."
The nurse staff looks at her with confused faces, and she says, "I'm pregnant.. Again!" She laughs.
"What?! Oh my Gosh!"
"Yeah, it's twins." She giggles.
"No way! I am in complete shock! You're pregnant?! With twins?! With a four month old?! Jessica Lange!" One gasps.
"I know!" She laughs.
"This is insane! I knew you looked a little extra plumped!" The nurse chuckles.
"Yeah, I'm already showing, I was just trying to hide it, since we haven't told anyone yet."
"Awe, you're so cute. I am so so happy for you guys. You're gonna have such a big family!"
"I know, right? Thank you! I'm really excited now. The shock has.. Almost worn off *Chuckles*
And yes it's going to be extremely difficult with a baby, while being pregnant with twins.. and when their born to have so many kids so close in age, but I have a lot of help.. It'll be fun." She smiles. "They'll all be really close."
"Yes they will! Well keep us updated, honey. You know your kids have many many new aunts over here, and we will always be here to help." One nurse smiles as they all agree.
"Awe, thats so sweet! Thank you all so so much for everything. These past few months have been a nightmare, but with you all.. You have turned it into such happiness, and we thank you so much from the absolute bottom of our hearts." Jessica touches her chest and gets teary eyed.
"Awe sweetie! Give me a hug!" One says as they all give her a group hug.
