Tom: Hey, what do you want to do before we leave tonight?

You: I don't know. What would you like?

Tom: How about a picnic at the waterfall?

You: I'm in!

'Tom goes downstairs to pack some lunch and you get dressed. Before you finish getting dressed Tom walks in'

Tom: Ready?

You: I can't pick which pants

Tom: Do you want me to pick?

You: Yes, please

Tom: Okay, the denim ones

'You put them on and go to look in the mirror'

Tom: No time for that! Let's go!

'He drags you out before you can look'

You: Tom?

Tom: It looks great, promise

'He gives you a kiss and drags you to the car'

Tom: Do you want to drive?

You: No, that's your job Spidey

Tom: Don't you ever forget that

'You drive up to the waterfall and Tom carries you there'

You: Thank you, Spidey

Tom: I have to look good for my movie shortie

You: I'm so excited I finally get to go with you

Tom: Me too. It killed me not being here for you

You: Well in my defense I didn't know that was going to happen

Tom: It still happened

You: I'm sorry

Tom: It's alright, we just won't let it happen again

You: Fine by me

'You sit up at the waterfall all afternoon before you have to go home'

You: Wait, I want to drive one more time before New York

Tom: Okay, no crashing

You: No promises

'You wink at him and run to the car'

Tom: Shortie!

'He catches up and grabs you by the waist. You spin around to face him'

You: No time for games now

Tom: We've got time when we get to New York

'You drive home and you open the door for Tom as he does for you'

Tom: Are you going to carry me too?

'You jump up and put your legs around his waist'

You: Nope, you're carrying me

Tom: Alright

'He carries you in and his whole family is in the living room. Tom puts you down'

Tom: Mom, is everything okay?

Mrs. Holland: Oh yeah, all good

'She motions with her eyes for you to go upstairs'

Tom whispers: You go up and I'll see who it is

You: No! What if it's my mom and dad? They're smart enough to split up

Tom: Then what do we do?

You: We have no fear, come on

'You walk into the kitchen to see your dad holding a knife'

You: Dad put down the knife. No one needs to get hurt

YD: Oh really? You ruined my other plans

You: Yes, I did, and I'm going to ruin this too

YD: No, you're not

You: You would rather traumatize a kid who has nothing to do with this instead? Are you crazy?

YD: Maybe I am, so what?

You: Dad, you can't do this

YD: Yes, I can

'You feel yourself start to tense up and Tom puts something in your hand and whispered'

Tom: It's already loaded, I'll get Paddy

You: Dad, you can't be this ignorant

YD: And you can't be this happy!

'As he comes closer to you, Tom gets closer to his brothers, and you see Mrs. Holland start to back up to the door'

You: Why can't I be happy? I'm not part of your life anymore!

YD: Doesn't matter

You: Yes, it does

'You see Tom finally got to his brothers, and his mom opened the door for them to run'

YD: You can't be happy, only Jacob can

'You can see his whole body, and you pick up your hand'

You: I can be happy too
