"Where did you go?" Hermione asked me in Herbology our first class of the day
I skipped breakfast and tossed and turned the entire night in the tower

"Nowhere really" I said opening my textbook
I sat beside Hermione, behind Harry and Neville
Ron was sitting beside Seamus

"I went looking for you this morning, Draco did too. We looked together and couldn't find you so where did you go?" She demanded

I closed my book
"Astronomy tower"

"Why"

"Because I was depressed Hermione"

She went silent
Professor Sprout was talking in the background about our assignment for the week

"Because of Fred? Cora he's being stupid"

"I know he is. That doesn't make it any less upsetting though"

She opened my book and flipped it to the correct page
"Don't let him hold that much power over you, you have a championship to win now. Sorry Harry" she said looking his way but he just stared off into the distance "if he can't get over his issues then move on"

"Hermione I think I'm in love with him"

She raised her eyebrows
"Someone who can't even put aside his pride to help you when you're down right now? Cora"

"I know... I can't imagine my life without him. He means so much to me, he was the first person to make me smile"

"Well right now he's sucking"

"Yeah" I put my head on my arms
Hermione rubbed my back

"You should probably find Draco after class, I doubt he went to his own. He said he was going to keep looking for you"

"I'm sure he's worried about me"

"He worries a lot about you. I can't believe you two are that close, I know you see the good in him but it's hard for the rest of us. I tolerate him better than the other two"

"Speaking of them, is Ron going to stay mad as long as Fred?"

We both looked at Ron and he was glaring at Harry who wasn't even giving him the time of day
Hermione sighed
"Ron arrived late to breakfast, he sat with Seamus and Dean as far away as he could sit from Harry. Seamus is being a prick to Harry too so it wasn't hard for him to find someone who wanted to avoid him"

"What is everyone saying about me?"

"Mostly things about you being part werewolf and how that either gives you an advantage or disadvantage. It seems the only one mad at you is Fred"

"I hate people talking about my blood status like that, it's not an advantage at all really, I'm afraid that one of the competitions will be during a full moon. What am I going to do then?"

"We will figure it out if that day comes, I want to help both you and Harry, Draco wants to help you out as much as he can too. He's better with offense spells I'm obviously the smarter one, together we will help you get through whatever comes"

"Thank you Hermione"

"You didn't drink last night did you?" She asked concerned

"No, I just went and cried while looking outside"

"I'm sorry you are going through this"

"I was given a life I'm strong enough to control right?"

"Right"

Herbology ended and Hermione walked with me to potions
A few Durmstrang boys asked us to the ball along the way but we denied them
"Honestly this is ridiculous, it's going to be like this until the ball arrives" Hermione said annoyed

"I wanted to go with Fred, right when it was introduced I thought of him. Now I don't know"

"I bet Draco would go with you"

"I want him to pick his date, not be forced to go with me"

"Cora!!" Draco yelled from down the stairs
He was at the bottom, his hair was messed up and he looked out of breath
He run up the stairs and grabbed me tightly
"Where the hell have you been??" He said worried

I frowned onto his chest
"I needed to be alone"

"Why?"

If I tell Draco how much Fred is hurting me he'll never forgive him

"Stressed about the tournament" I said

He looked at me after he let me go
He crossed his arms
"Ok what else? I know you Cora"

"Fred hasnt talked to her since her name was announced" Hermione said

"Hermione" I said shocked
Why would she tell him that

"I'll meet you in class" she said smirking my way
She knew I wouldn't mention Fred to Draco so she did it instead

I watched her leave me and Draco alone on the stairs
He motioned for me to sit beside him and I did

"Why didn't you want to tell me that?"

"I don't want you hating Fred"

"How are you feeling now?"

"Nervous about the tournament, anxious because of Fred"

"Well you're right to think I would hate him. I'm giving him a few days and if he is still acting this foolish he's on my list"

"You're list?"

"I have a mental list of people who have hurt you, the really awful ones are at the top. The ones that you'll forgive but I won't make up the rest, if he wants to be on my good side he'll stay off of it"

I frowned again
"I don't know what to do. Yeah it's only been a day but he would have talked to me by now if this was a normal day...he would have walked me to class"

"Confront him when you see him next, I can go with you?"

"No, that would just be too much. I want to talk to him peacefully not show up with a group and make him feel threatened"

Draco smirked
"I threaten him?"

I lightly pushed him
"No" I smiled "I meant as in he would be more willing to talk it out if it was just us"

"Let's go to class, lunch is after maybe you can find him then? You didn't go to breakfast do you want an apple?" He went into his bag and grabbed a piece of fruit for me

I nodded my head and took it from his hand
"Thank you for being there for me"

He smiled and took another apple out of his bag and shared a moment with me before we both left for potion's class
