Death Eater's Daughter

One Hundred Twenty Four

  "Get your popcorn and butterbeer here!!" Yelled a merchant
"Get your merchandise here!!"

Nighttime has fallen, the clouds have been covering the moon so I haven't been able see if the lotion that the twins made for me worked
But Hermione helped me layer it on before I changed into my tournament outfit
"Lupin" on the back of my all gold tank top
I was in a pair of black shorts, with white tennis sneakers
Harry was in red and black, we both were representing our house colors as requested by Ludo Bagman

The lotion smelt so nice, it has my favorite scents mixed together and it was so hydrating
My skin already feels better, it even seemed to keep my body temperature down while I used it

Harry and I walked to where the rest of the champions were
Professor McGonagall and Moody were present with us as well
McGonagall had her hand on my shoulder as we walked towards the center of the field
"You've got this" she whispered to me "I can't help you during this, but I know you will win. Beat the rest of them and show everyone who's the winning team"
McGonagall loved to be competitive

The air smelt of popcorn and baked goods and the breeze coming from the lake was incredible
Typically I ran hot on a full moon, but tonight was different with help from the twins
I was actually able to be present

I knew a lot of merchants were outside the stadium currently selling whatever Triwizard merchandise they could before it began
I saw Fred and Draco both wearing a
"Team Lupin"
shirt while Hermione and Ron stayed with a classic
"Go Go Gryffindor" styled shirt
I looked around the stadium and made eye contact with Sirius in his dog form
He barked and wagged his tag at me, he was sitting beside Hermione who was petting him softly
I wish my dad could be here too

I also saw the Weasley family here, including Molly who was giving me a horrid glare
Arthur waved to me though, so I waved back
Charlie smiled brightly at me
He wrote to me a few days ago, saying how he thinks I should join him this summer in Romania to tend to Dragons, specifically the one that I made a connection with
He named her "Cor Ignis" which meant fire heart in Latin
I think he named her Cor to be similar to my name as well

I began jumping up and down to calm my nerves
But anytime I ended up calming my own, I felt the energy from everyone else and ended up feeling overwhelmed
Fred was itchy alongside Hermione and Draco
Sirius was sweet just like Arthur Charlie and Ron
But Molly was bitter, similar to Moody's emotion
I shook off their emotions and focused back on myself

  "Welcome all" Dumbledore said "to the finale of the Triwizard Cup"

Cheering was heard all around the stadium
People from the other two houses arrived to watch as well as new faces for Hogwarts
Parents, and past students all gathered for today's event

I felt the clouds shifting, but my skin stayed neutral
They're lotion will work I know they won't let me down

  "The purpose of today's challenge is a maze. It's not just any maze though, it's designed to confuse the contestants and challenge them. Our gatekeeper Hagrid has placed deadly spiders and creatures of the night within the maze to further test our students. The full moon brings out new sides of each creature that these four have never experienced" Dumbledore turned to look at us "you will receive no help from anyone on the outside, unless you signal for assistance. But know that if you do you are disqualified, use a red signal for emergencies only" he turned back to the crowd "now as for the order of who will enter, Fleur did not finish the second challenge so she is last, Viktor will go third, Cora will go second and Harry will go first"

The crowd cheered louder, but Dumbledore raised his hand to silence the crowd
  "Champions, on our signal you will enter one by one. Remember the maze will trick you, good luck to all four of you. I will see each of you on the other side"

We all nodded our head and waited for a signal
I looked at Harry and he walked over to me
  "I'll find you in the maze and we can do this together"

I nodded my head
   "Good luck until we meet" I said hugging him tightly
A cannon fire signaled the start of the final challenge
Harry looked at the crowd and then walked into the maze
It opened up for just him, and then slowly closed again

We were instructed to wait a full minute before entering next
By this point the moon was in full effect, but the lotion was working like it was supposed to and was keeping my skin comfortable
I made eye contact with Draco first
He nodded his chin at me and I nodded back
Then I looked at Fred, he just stared at me softly
I smiled at him, the best I could and then I looked at Hermione Ron and Sirius
All of them had determined looks
They knew I could do this
I can do this
I will win

Another cannon went off, signaling my turn
I took a deep breath and began walking into the maze
I saw a screen was being projected on the maze, four squares were on it
The top left was Harry who was already searching the area
I assume the one beside it was mine since I was second in line

I walked into the maze
Before it closed I looked at the crowd once more, and heard everyone clapping for me

This is it
This is my moment
I'm going to win
