One Hundred Thirty Seven

Sirius and I walked back down stairs, Hermione and my dad had gotten back and were waiting for us in the living room

  "Everything ok?" My dad asked me

  "Yeah, I played again" I said feeling calm again

  "You did? Incredible" my dad came up to me and hugged me "that's a wonderful achievement"

  "Thank you, it helped me to get out of my head"

  "I'm sure it did" Hermione said
So much happiness in the room

Hermione showed me the books she found in her library, nothing explicitly talking about mood reading but she thought they could still help
We spent hours together reading before the next Order meeting tonight
I told my dads that they could bring everyone here, I wanted to speak to Dumbledore and pick his brain about my ability
Everyone including the Weasley's, all of them
Draco has wrote to me every day so far
Fred hasn't wrote a single letter to me

  "Do you think he moved on?" I asked Hermione
We were changing into warmer clothes, the house had a tendency to get cold
I was even colder than usual

  "Fred? No" she said "he was looking for you as much as we were"

  "Why hasn't he wrote a letter to me...it makes me think he doesn't care"

  "He does, maybe he's giving you space?"

  "Maybe"

  "Would you get back together with him if he asked?"

  "I think I would...I really love him"

  "What are you going to tell Draco if that happens?"

  "He respects my decisions" I said putting on warm socks

  "But he loves you, he's in love with you"

  "We never found that out"

She rolled her eyes
  "Stay in denial, our plan to find out never went through but I know you feel his emotions towards you. You know how he feels"

I do
I know he is in love with me
The warmth that radiates from him while we're together is just like Fred's
Not even my dad or Sirius give off that kind of energy

We walked downstairs and waited for everyone to begin showing up
First was Dumbledore with Snape
Last was the Weasley's including Charlie who was able to come for this meeting
  "Your dragon misses you" he told me

  "I miss her too"

He winked at me and then walked into the kitchen
The next to enter Sirius' house was Fred and George
They both looked at me and I felt my heart skip a beat
George ran for me and picked me up to hug me
  "Cora I'm so happy you're ok"

After George stopped hugging me, I was left in the room with just Fred
He walked over slowly to me, he had his hand out in front of me so I took it softly
He curled his fingers around my hand and held it tightly
  "You're alive"

  "I am"

He pulled me in from his hand and held me in a tight embrace
So much warmth

  "I'm so sorry you went through all of that" he began rubbing circles on my back

I smiled at his gesture, something he used to do a lot in the years prior

  "Cora!!" The voices of Ron and Ginny said
I looked passed Fred's body and saw both of them running towards me

  "Fred let her go I want to hug her too" Ginny said

Ginny and Ron both hugged me tightly
The room was filled with so much love, it was making me smile cheesy
Which made everyone else laugh at how happy I looked
When I looked at my dads' I saw they were both smiling brightly at me
Sirius knew this is what I needed

The meeting began, without any of the younger students
I was the only one allowed in, even Hermione wasn't allowed in anymore
She needed to have her parent's permission from now on, and explaining to her parents what was going on was too complicated
I told her I would be fine, I felt better this time, the first meeting was rough but this one I would take charge

  "I need someone to train me on handling emotions, I can't keep taking them all in it's causing me distress" I told the group

  "We thought occlumency would help" my dad suggested

  "Occlumency would do nothing for that" Professor Snape said
I looked at Sirius who rolled his eyes at his answer
The gesture made me laugh
  "Something funny?" He asked me

  "Nothing" I said smiling still

Professor Snape continued talking about how it wouldn't help me to learn that trick, all the while Sirius was making fun of him behind his back
My dad cracked a smile at his partner's antics too

  "I do know someone who might be of help" Dumbledore said smiling
He was also watching Sirius goof off

  "Who?"

  "Professor Trelawney, she is well skilled in emotions and divination. I could letter her for you?" He said
 
  "Please do" I tried to not sound too eager, but I already loved her as a teacher, having her help me would be lovely

  "Good I didn't want to train an ungrateful student" Professor Snape said annoyed

Sirius went from laughing and smiling to tense
  "Want to repeat that?" His voice was laced with hatred

  "I'm not training any ungrateful students" he repeated

The room became quiet
Sirius stood up
  "What makes her so ungrateful? If I remember correctly, she's aced all of your classes"

  "Ungrateful isn't just being smart, it's attitude which she seems to have taken on yours"

Sirius went to walk over to Snape but my dad held his hand
 
  "Sirius it's ok, I don't want to be spending any extra time with his shitty ass personality anyways" I said

Sirius began belly laughing
My dad did the same

  "See? Ungrateful" Snape said agitated

I shrugged my shoulders and laughed alongside my dads'

  "You know what you need?" Charlie said changing the subject, though he was laughing too
The only one to not crack a smile was Molly, I'm sure she thought we were rude

  "Whats that?" I asked picking up my hot tea

  "Come with me for a week and see your dragon, train with me" he said smirking
