Both maknaes laying in the floor of Y/N's room in the shared house selected specifically for Bangtan when they're working on their music together
Both are looking at the ceiling while they listen to the short ensemble Adora made for 'Love Maze', one of the songs included in the next album.
"When did you record Jimin's vocals?"
Jungkook asks without turning to her.
"Friday, after we came back from LA. There are only three accepted verses and Namjoon's and mine were recorded on America, isn't it interesting?"
Jungkook only finds interesting the way the girl beside is absorbed by the sweet melody, her fingers keep on patting the wooded floor rhythmically while muttering under her breath some of the parts of the verses that are ready.
He can't help but feel like falling in love, again.
After too much tries, he comes back to where his heart belonged but there's something that stops him from opening his mouth to confess the real feelings inside him.
"Love is a maze, damn, but you is amaze, yeah"
Adora whispers one more time that last line in Namjoon's verse.
Over her mind replaying the way Namjoon held her waist while playing that same part of the song, as if a waltz they were dancing to... Inside the hotel room in Los Angeles.
'Love is a maze, damn, but you is amaze' He said while bopping her nose with his, and after that, he lets go of her form, just to write down the exact line he just said to the girl and finally filling the end of his rap.
'That's why I love working with you...' He stops writing to meet back the gaze of Y/N who is taken aback for all the fast movements he just played in front of her 'You fill my air with inspiration, girl' Namjoon finishes his statement with a half smile.
After the memory stops playing in Y/N's head and the bridge sounds loud inside the room, there is a silence, no words for that part. An space that needs to be filled to complete the song, so both of the maknaes are thinking what fits there.
But Jungkook is daydreaming as well and Adora's real name spills from his thin lips.
"Y/N"
And at the same time the song repeats the bridge part he asks for something.
"Take my hand"
Like if Jungkook felt she was thinking about someone else, he tries to call her attention back to him and only him.
She doesn't think it twice and holds his hand firmly, intertwining fingers so now the invisible bond between them grows stronger while the bridge starts back again after the improvised recorded rap.
"Take my ay ay hand 손을 놓지 마"
She sings at the rhythm of the music and smiles for herself. Jungkook has just created the start of the bridge.
Not letting go of his hand, Adora writes with her free hand the perfect bridge for the song.

"You are a friking genius, Kookie"
She lays back again over her back, keeping hold on Jungkook's hand. Meanwhile, Jungkook's face is red, is he a genius? Or is it only his feelings for her talking out loud?
