When he reached the hospital, Lisa walked towards the inpatient care facilities as he took a look at his watch.
It was 8:30pm. He should still be able to make it in time.
Due to his anxiousness, he walked at an extremely fast pace, like a rush of wind. He carried a grave expression and Ephialtes' powers enshrouding him started to stir. Even though this would not cause the people around him to experience nightmares, the gloomy aura exuded from him was even more overbearing, causing people around to avoid him automatically upon spotting his figure from afar. Those that were unable to avoid him in time became so afraid-their hearts raced and their faces paled-as Lisa passed them.
Who was this man? Did he come to the hospital to kill someone?
Passersby stared at Lisa's back view and pondered. Many of them who wanted to enter the inpatient care building regained their composure and decided to delay entering the building for 10 minutes to ascertain if a murder case occurred.
The evasive actions of the passersby around Lisa was greatly advantageous to his rush. Even when he was waiting for the elevator, people who were originally waiting in front of the elevator collectively retreated without a word and went to the other neighboring elevators instead. No one dared to snatch a spot on the elevator from him.
The elevator came down not long later and Lisa entered in a single step. He did not have the intention of waiting for anyone else and immediately smashed the close button. At this moment, a figure came running towards the elevator and used his hand to block the closing doors just a second before they fully closed.
"Please wait a moment."
At this moment, the people all waiting at the neighboring elevator collectively sucked in a mouthful of cold air. They all wondered if that person would be kicked out of the elevator in the next second.
The person who obstructed the elevator doors also sensed something amiss. There seems to be something not right with the surrounding mood, as if there was an extremely horrifying existence around.
"Bo-...boss?" Seulgi lifted his head up and clearly spotted the icy cold expression of the man within the lift. The horrifying feeling immediately abated.
No wonder Seulgi felt that the scary feeling was familiar earlier. It was just boss all along. However, wasn't today Mid-Autumn festival? Why was boss here alone? Why was boss looking so grave? Why isn't lady boss here to coax him?
"If you're not coming in, scram." Lisa noticed that Seulgi not entering the elevator yet the man was obstructing the way. He became somewhat annoyed with Seulgi as he was in a hurry.
Seulgi immediately reacted and hurriedly stepped in. After which, he pressed the close door button on reflex. He did not ask the people waiting outside if they wanted to enter since he instantly understood why they had decided to wait outside for other elevators instead.
In the past, Seulgi had only thought that boss had a domineering disposition so overpowering that anyone who stood by boss' side would feel uncomfortable. He had only equated this to the disposition that a successful person naturally possesed. However, now he was aware that there were actually metaphysical forces in this world. If one considered lady boss' identity as a witch, Seulgi felt that the disposition portrayed by boss was not just the aura of a successful person. Instead, it should be some form of unknown metaphysical force.
Seulgi swiftly pressed the floor number of where he wished to go. Soon, he was once again faced with the overbearing aura from Lisa to the point where he had difficulty breathing. He was extremely regretful of his previous act of running towards the elevator. After all, it would only take another 2 minutes to wait for the next elevator, why was he in such a rush?
