NEXT DAY EARLY MORNING
Lisa left his house at his usual timing. He placed Winter on the front passenger seat of his car. As he drove, he explained to Winter, "I have some matters to attend to today so we will be heading to the studio first. After I'm done, I'll send you to the villa."
"AH HAHAHAHAHA!" Winter was an obedient doll so naturally it did not disagree with Lisa's plans.
He drove the car out of the residential district. As the car cruised along, the quiet and obedient Winter could not help but start moving around. It stepped onto the chair of the front passenger seat, both its hands held onto the car window to support itself as it looked around outside with a curious expression. Outside the window, the cruising car created a gust of wind as it moved and blew against its 2 hair-braids that were made of wool.
Lisa was slightly concerned that the wind would grow strong enough to blow Winter away. Thus, he pressed on the button to wind up the window.
Winter noticed that the car window it was leaning against was closed and secretly sent a glance filled with guilt at Lisa. Was it because it was not obedient and made male master mad? Master had told it that it was always moving around in places with outsiders and so it was sent back home. Thinking of this, Winter hurriedly sat back on the chair and meekly laid both of its hands in front of its body, acting as if it was an ordinary doll that did not have a soul inside.
Lisa felt the entire scene was very hilarious. He also felt that Irene was right deep down. Winter was indeed becoming increasingly life-like. It could even react to people's moods now.
"The wind is strong when I'm driving. Be careful not to be blown away." Lisa clarified.
Winter's eyeballs shifted around in response. It understood that male master was not blaming it. Instead, he was worried about it getting blown away by the wind. After understanding his intention, Winter's mood instantly lifted. However, it still remained seated on the chair in an obedient manner and did not move around. After all, it would be able to play with the kitty in the villa later on after male master finished his work. It could also ask the kitty to bring it along to jump down from the second floor just like last time-it felt as if it was flying then.
Lisa spotted that Winter still remained totally still and could not resist adding on, "The window is closed, you can continue watching the scenery if you wish."
The silent Winter turned its head around suddenly. Its eyes wide open. After that, it seemed that it had understood and let out a loud trill of laughter. It then leaned against the car window again. Since it had Lisa's permission this time round, it moved in a more carefree manner. Previously, it did not dare to move its head around much as it was afraid of being discovered by others. However, now it was turning its head here and there, just like a puppy. It looked towards the front of the car and afterwards shifted its gaze to the back and repeated the cycle. It was so excited that its tiny butt was shaking.
Its overactive self naturally attracted the attention of those in nearby cars. However, as they were separated by their vehicle, the people around could only spot the head of a doll. Even if they were suspicious of its movements, they would not think that Winter was actually alive. They probably would have thought that some kid was purposely holding a doll and playing in the car.
Lisa noticed that Winter was having so much fun playing around so he did not try to stop it. He continued to drive as he thought about the information he wanted to convey to Mina later on.
After he was forcefully flung out of the dreamscape yesterday night, he had attempted to re-enter that man's dream multiple times. However, he was unable to find the entrance to the man's dreamscape. This meant that the middle-aged man did not go back to sleep after waking up till dawn.
