IN THE VILLA
Ghost Gentleman looked at the sudden appearance of the family of 3 and asked in bewilderment, "Didn't you mention that you would only send Winter here Monday morning?"
"This is all your fault." Irene sent him a crossed glare.
The ghost was confused by the glare. What did he do? After returning his sister's soul fragment to his sister the night before, he had been resting in the villa since. He did not do anything else from that period of time till now.
Irene placed Winter on the sofa. She then tugged off her braids that she had carefully put together and started to shake her hair out while the 2 ghosts and 1 cat in the scene stared at the spectacle in confusion.
Was she possessed? This was impossible. The evil spirit must be highly formidable to be able to possess Witch.
"DISHEVELLED HAIR! SUCH INDECENCY!" Suddenly, a childish voice resounded loudly in the basement. Even though the voice was childish, the reprimanding tone it used was rather imposing-it provoked a familiar feeling within Ghost Gentleman.
"See." Irene pointed towards Winter and pointed.
Ghost Gentleman understood immediately. It seemed that the evil spirit was actually Winter.
Winter stood on the sofa and profusely repeated the same line. "DISHEVELLED HAIR! SUCH INDECENCY! SUCH INDECENCY!"
The voice said the same thing over and over again using the exact same tone each time, as if it had been programmed like a robot by someone. Only after Irene redid her braids did the voice finally stop.
"What kind of memories did you have? What did my Winter eat for it to become like this?" Irene raged at Ghost Gentleman.
Ghost Gentleman had been suppressing his laughter ever since Winter started to 'reprimand' Irene. Hearing Irene's accusations, feelings of disapproval surfaced within him. What did she mean by letting Winter 'eat until it became like this'? Wasn't this Winter so much better than the previous one? Wasn't this tens and thousands times better than Winter screaming "Mister, come play with me" or "Mister, come to bed"?
Of course, the sharp-witted Ghost Gentleman would never say such provoking words to the currently incensed Irene. He let out a light cough and adjusted his emotions before explaining, "Winter's current tone seems to be similar to my basic education tutor during my childhood days. When I was still a child, my father deemed that I was too mischievous and thus he sought out a fairly austere teacher for me. This could be considered as one of my childhood nightmares."
"You deserved it." At this very moment, Irene did not pity Ghost Gentleman at all. Though, after she had scolded him, she felt that something was amiss. Looking at the situation logically, if Ghost Gentleman deserved such a treatment during his childhood days, for the currently changed Winter to be able to affect her significantly, did that mean she deserved it too?
"I concur with what lady boss has said." Ghost Gentleman agreed along with her words.
"Concur, my ass." Irene, who had just gotten her head around the matter, was even more enraged hearing the ghost's response. She was annoyed as she felt as if her reproach was rebounded back onto herself.
Ghost Gentleman did not know about the internal dialogue that went through Irene's mind in that short period of time, and became perplexed by the sudden rebuke. However, he did not dare to rebut.
"In any case, Winter will be staying in the villa today. My dearest husband, let's go." After finishing her words, Irene pulled on Lisa's arm and turned around to leave.
"IT IS IMPROPER FOR A MAN AND A WOMAN TO HAVE PHYSICAL CONTACT! IT IS IMPROPER FOR A MAN AND A WOMAN TO HAVE PHYSICAL CONTACT!" The conservative Winter became infuriated and started to stamp its feet on the sofa after witnessing the couple's actions.
