As a police officer, he had seen too much death. The ways of dying were no more than a few: suicide, illness, old age, murder, accidental death. Other than that, there shouldn't be any other ways to die.

But what he never expected was that his own death would be the sixth kind-supernatural death, having his soul reaped by an underworld colleague.

"Gloves, put them on." Ghost Gentleman handed a pair of black gloves to Mina, who was still mourning his own body.

These gloves were made of the same material as the black cloth that wrapped the soul-sealing arrow. Once worn, they allowed a person to touch the soul-sealing arrow with their bare hands.

Holding the gloves, Mina asked in confusion, "Am I really only meant to live until 31 according to the book of life and death?"

Mina was 31 this year.

"At a time like this, you're still concerned about that?" Ghost Gentleman was speechless.

"I'm already dead, do I still need to worry about anything else?" Mina retorted.

"Good point." Ghost Gentleman paused for a moment but quickly recovered, "You're not dead yet. First, save Lisa."

"I'm not dead yet? Save Lisa?" Mina snapped back to reality, remembering that he came to Lishan Villa to save Lisa.

"What's going on outside?" Mina asked.

"There's no time to explain in detail. In short, the guy fighting Lisa is a Ghost King. If we don't kill him, the world will be destroyed. So, if you want to stay alive, you must help Lisa defeat him," Ghost Gentleman explained quickly.

"Saving the world? So, movies do come from real life. Not all movie plots are made up after all." Mina had somewhat mentally prepared himself during the journey, so he accepted the situation quickly. He put on the black gloves as Ghost Gentleman instructed.

"How do I help?" Mina asked.

"This is a soul-sealing arrow. It can weaken the Ghost King's power, but the wind outside is too strong for the arrow to be shot from a distance. We can't go out, but you have righteous energy protecting you, so you can walk through the whirlwind outside," said Ghost Gentleman.

Mina understood, "You want me to get close and shoot the Ghost King with this arrow?"

"Exactly."

"Then why did you bother pulling my soul out? You scared me half to death."

"The soul-sealing arrow can't be held by a living person, only by a soul," Ghost Gentleman replied.

"Stop talking and hurry up, my dearest husband can't hold on much longer," Irene was on the verge of tears.

Mina glanced outside and saw a massive rock crashing down onto Lisa's head, forcing Lisa to bend his knees from the impact.

"When I came in earlier, I was almost crushed by those rocks. There's no way the Ghost King will let me get close so easily," Mina quickly analyzed. He wasn't afraid of dying, but it seemed like only he could use the soul-sealing arrow. If he died, there would be no solution.

"If only we could activate the formation," Irene said. "It would distract the Ghost King and give Mina a chance."

Winter.

Irene looked at Winter. Winter's eyes remained fixed on Irene's injured hand, but it was clear that the fear hadn't been overcome. Irene clenched her fist in frustration, causing blood to drip onto the ground from her wound.

Injured. Father was injured. Mother was injured too.

If she didn't help her parents, they would be in danger.
