NOON - 12:35PM
The food delivery guy-dressed in the signature yellow uniform-rode his electric scooter to the villa entrance and stopped. He got down from his scooter and took out a pack of food delivery from his delivery box. Out of habit, he took a look at the delivery remarks.
"Is this delivery for Ms. Sana or Mr. Taeyeon?" The delivery guy muttered to himself as he glanced at the remarks. He was stunned momentarily when he discovered that the remarks column was completely blank. "Eh? Why are there no remarks for the order today? Could it be that they have forgotten?"
He scratched his head and said to himself in exasperation, "Oh well, let's just read out the usual remarks for both."
He then held the food delivery with both hands, closed his eyes and chanted in a low voice. "This food delivery is for Ms. Sana and Mr. Taeyeon of this villa."
His tone was sincere and the speaking flow was smooth. With one look, one could tell that he was extremely used to chanting those words.
After chanting out the usual words, the delivery guy opened his eyes. Just as he wanted to squeeze the food delivery through the gaps of the fence as usual, he noticed a tall figure standing at the entrance for an indetermined amount of time.
"My food delivery, thank you." Lisa reached out his hand, acting as if he did not see the odd chanting performance of the delivery guy earlier on.
"You-...you're Mr. Taeyeon?" The delivery guy asked in reflex.
"No." Lisa shook his head.
"I knew it. If it were Mr. Taeyeon, he would definitely indicate a delivery remark." The moment the delivery guy heard that the other man was not Taeyeon, he knew that his earlier effort in chanting had gone to waste. He then felt somewhat embarrassed when he thought of how he had been foolishly muttering to himself the entire time in front of the food delivery's owner.
Lisa did not respond to the food delivery guy and instead prompted again, "My delivery."
"Oh right, my bad." The delivery guy realized that he had yet to hand the food delivery to the other man, and immediately went forward to pass it over while apologizing. "Erm, are Mr. Taeyeon and Ms. Sana at home?"
"Are you acquainted with them?" Lisa felt that this delivery guy before him seemed a tad too talkative.
"We aren't really acquaintances but I'm worried about them, that's why I'm asking." The delivery guy answered.
"Worried?" A flicker of tension flashed past his eyes. Could it be that this delivery guy knew something about last night's incident?
"Yes, I frequently come to deliver food to them. They would order food delivery every day. By this time of the day, they would have at least ordered 3 to 4 deliveries. However, they did not order a single delivery today, so I felt that it's a bit odd." The delivery guy then felt that perhaps he had probed too much and immediately explained himself, "I'm not trying to invade their privacy. I just felt it was slightly weird and was worried that they may have met with trouble so I'm just casually asking."
Lisa's icy expression loosened up slightly after hearing the delivery guy's explanation, "They... kind of went out."
"Went out? When are they coming back?" The delivery guy asked.
Lisa's brows creased at the question.
The delivery guy's heart jolted-he knew that he had gone overboard with his questions. He immediately stopped asking and got to his scooter in a rush. He shouted as he started the engine, "I still have other deliveries so I'm leaving now. Hope you enjoy your meal."
