Criminal Investigation Brigade, Interrogation Room.

Yang Ming angrily pushed open the door and said to Mina, who was walking out with him, "This Song Chi is just too arrogant."

"Without evidence, of course, he'd be arrogant." Mina was much calmer than Yang Ming.

"This guy is definitely the murderer. I refuse to believe we can't find any evidence." Not long ago, someone reported their sister missing for over three months. The police conducted a week-long investigation and finally focused their suspicion on the missing woman's husband, Song Chi. However, despite the investigation, they couldn't find any solid evidence against him beyond mere suspicion.

"What's the use of just shouting? When a wife goes missing, the husband is usually the prime suspect. He likely anticipated being investigated, so he destroyed all the evidence in advance," Mina said. "In the absence of evidence, even if we know he killed her, we can't do anything."

After three months of his wife's disappearance, the husband became the prime suspect, and given how arrogant he acted, the police speculated that his wife was likely already dead.

"Boss, can't the 'Black Cat Sergeant' find the body?" After the New Year, Captain Mina somehow got hold of a black cat, which was renowned for being quick and accurate in finding bodies. Over time, the cat became famous within the police force and was nicknamed "Black Cat Sergeant."

"Even to find a body, you need a search range." Over three months had passed, and under the guise of searching for his wife, Song Chi had visited many places. Who knows where he hid the body?

"I'll go back to his house and office to look again, maybe I'll find something new," Yang Ming said, determined.

Mina didn't stop him, but he knew Yang Ming wouldn't find anything. Song Chi was too cautious to leave any visible clues.

"Looks like I have to rely on you," Mina muttered as he left the police station, crossed the street, and headed to the nearby complex.

"Captain Mina, you're here again," Jisoo greeted Mina with a smile.

"Yeah," Mina nodded, his gaze instinctively drifting toward the reading area.

"Hahaha!" A lively and adorable doll, dressed in a Gentleman's dress, ran over with a hearty laugh.

"Winter." Mina smiled broadly, bent down, and swiftly scooped Winter into his arms. "Winter is still as cute as ever."

"Hahaha!" Winter kept laughing.

"Come on, give Uncle a kiss." Mina leaned in, expecting Winter's soft lips to touch his cheek, but suddenly, his arms were empty.

Mina wasn't surprised. He turned naturally to look at the second floor of the studio.

Lisa stood there with a gloomy face, holding Winter and staring coldly at Mina.

"Why so stingy? Winter only has a puppet body. And besides, what's wrong with a two- or three-year-old kid giving a kiss?" Mina said nonchalantly.

"I see your legs are in good health. Wouldn't it be fine if they were broken?" With a flick of his hand, Lisa summoned a nightmare-infused rod, ready to strike Mina.

"No more next time," Mina quickly raised his hands in surrender.

This guy could destroy the world, so Mina had no problem backing down.

"Hmph." Lisa withdrew his nightmare power, holding Winter as he turned to head back to his office.

"Wait, I need your help with something," Mina hurriedly followed him.
