Chapter 55

By the time Jisoo sent Ji An home and returned to the studio, 1.5 hours had passed. He was immediately surrounded by the 3 other employees, who had been burning fervently with curiosity, the moment he stepped into the studio.

"Who was that child just now?" Yeri questioned.

"You actually left such a young child alone in boss' office? You're such a cruel person." Wendy added on.

"Exactly! The boy even ran out crying earlier." Seulgi continued.

Jisoo answered them while rolling his eyes in an exaggerated manner. "If you guys had so many questions, why don't you ask boss when he came down earlier?"

"We're just curious. Tell us, what's the relationship between that child and boss?" Yeri threw his hand over Jisoo's shoulders in an affectionate manner.

"Boss' younger brother." Jisoo replied.

"Seriously?" Everyone else was surprised. "Boss has a younger brother?"

"No, wait. Boss has a family? I've never heard of him talking about them."

"I've always thought that boss was an orphan like me." Seulgi said.

"You guys can continue courting disaster." Jisoo figured things out on the way back to the studio. With boss' innate self as Ephialtes, even metaphysical practitioners were unable to stand boss, not to mention boss' parents who were just ordinary civilians. Therefore, boss' relationship with his family was definitely not harmonious. Additionally, the sudden emergence of a younger brother in the family, even if one did not think deeply about it, it was clearly obvious to anyone about boss' position in his family in the past.

Jisoo lamented that he had indeed courted disaster earlier. He deserved to have his bonus deducted away.

"It seems that boss does not have a good relationship with his family." Jisoo then sent a message to Irene to inform her of what had happened. Immediately after, he recalled Seulgi's circumstances.

Jisoo had to think of an idea that would allow Seulgi to become self-conscious of the danger he was in and head to the police station across the road to make an official police report without exposing boss' Ephialtes powers. In order to do so, Jisoo had to think carefully of a reasonable rationale first.

After a while, Jisoo finally came up with an idea. He searched for an influencer on Weibo and commissioned the influencer to upload a video. Just half an hour later, the Weibo repost count had hit over 10,000.

At this time, Jisoo took his phone and opened up that particular Weibo post before acting shocked while shouting for Seulgi. "Damn! Seulgi! Is this you?"

"Huh? What?" Seulgi walked over to Jisoo in puzzlement.

"Look at this video. I feel that this person that was almost knocked down by a car somehow looks like you." Jisoo explained.

When Yeri and Wendy heard Jisoo's words, they also came over. Both of them watched the video and said in a firm tone, "This person is Seulgi. Look at his appearance and behavior. Also, wasn't Seulgi wearing the exact same set of clothes last Friday?"

Seulgi was baffled. The video showed a very familiar junction and the hot dry noodles stall that he had eaten at for 2 years-both were locations that he had to pass by every single day. Furthermore, the young man who suddenly turned around and was almost knocked down by a car in the video was undoubtedly himself.
