10PM AT NIGHT
A van could be seen driving slowly into the compound of an abandoned factory situated in the outskirts of Hai City. A teenager with yellow-dyed hair and a middle-aged man got out of the vehicle and walked into the factory. After stepping inside, they continued walking for approximately 10 minutes before arriving at a closely shut metal door.
"It's me. Open the door." The middle-aged man stood in front of the metal door and glanced towards the top right corner of the metal door. Subsequently, a red light flashed and a mechanism seemingly activated. Soon, a beep sound came from behind the metal door. The middle-aged man then went forward to push open the door and stepped in.
Behind the door was a flight of stairs leading down. It was clearly apparent that there was another floor below. The middle-aged man and the teenager with yellow-dyed hair climbed down the stairs. In the basement, they spotted an unshaven and dispirited-looking man, who was wearing a pair of glasses, sitting in front of multiple computers. One of the computers displayed the happenings of the factory surroundings.
"Third Bro, your dinner." The teenager with yellow-dyed hair brought the takeaway food to the dispirited man.
The dispirited man seemed to be starving as he started to gobble up the food the moment he took the takeaway box. After wolfing down several bites, he seemed to have regained some energy. He then spoke, "Boss, that side is chasing us again."
"Isn't there still some time left?" The middle-aged man was surprised after hearing those words, feeling slightly irritated.
"His grandson's illness relapsed again. The doctor said that if the same situation occurs again, his grandson would most likely no longer be able to be saved again." The dispirited man replied.
After hearing the response, the middle-aged man's expression darkened further. He hesitated for a moment before declaring, "We will act the day after tomorrow. Kill off Target 1 first before we think of a way to finish Target 2. Ah De, go and reconfirm the details again, especially for Target 2. You have to ensure that Target 2's case looks like her sickness has relapsed."
The teenager with yellow-dyed hair, whose name was Ah De, nodded his head. He sat in front of a computer and searched for a particular file. This file had a photo of Jennie on it and contained comprehensive details about Jennie. They included her medical history, which was described in minute details. Right at the bottom of her medical history, there was a red and bolded note-an advice from Jennie's doctor-in-charge to her.
Note: Unable to undergo extreme stress. There might be detrimental health risks should patient experience large emotions upheavals.
"Such a pity that she's queued at the 5th place." Ah De lamented as he stared at Jennie's photo.
"What? Just by monitoring her for a few days, you became fond of her?" The middle-aged man understood Ah De's personality very well. He immediately understood what the teenager was thinking the moment he heard those words.
"She looks very pretty." Ah De laughed gleefully.
"With the money earned from completing this case, would you still be afraid of not having beautiful ladies flocking to you?" The middle-aged man sneered.
"There may be many beautiful ladies out there, but there aren't a lot of girls who are this pure, delicate and can instill a protective desire for her in others." Ah De's tone was filled with sorrow.
Their client required a healthy heart and was currently queued in the 6th position. This meant that they required 3 more volunteers. They originally thought that they had 3 volunteers on hand but when they received the volunteers' information, they realized that one of the 3 volunteers was actually Jennie herself. This meant that there were only 2 volunteers available.
