Chapter 55: Bakugo Rescue Operation

3rd Person POV

"I-I-I-I-It's all... Nomu..."

Vanessa at last muttered out, when all of a sudden a loud THUD! was heard. "What's happening?!" Miku questioned, as the teens quickly saw a gigantic purple foot lift up a truck. "Is that...?" Midoriya trailed off, and the team could predict what was about to happen. Mt. Lady slammed the truck on her foot down onto the building, destroying the Nomu factory.

The teens quickly held on to the walls and ledges as a massive gust of wind almost blew them away. In the end, Todoroki lost his wig, Kirishima lost his fake horns, Midoriya's fake beard and glasses were gone, and Yao-Momo, Miku, and Vanessa's glasses were all blown away, cracking against the ground.

Once the gust of wind passed, the teens took in deep breaths of air. Vanessa held onto Todoroki while they were crouched on the floor. Iida, Miku, and Midoriya were beside them. Midoriya stood up with muscle pain, muttering multiple, "Ow!"'s, Miku gripped her stomach, and Iida held his head. "What? Did the building just come down?" the class president questioned.

Yao-Momo and Kirishima stood above the ledge to get a better look of the scene. Kirishima was held by Iida on his shoulders, and Yao-Momo held by Miku on her shoulders. The redhead gasped upon seeing the pros at the scene, "Gang Orca and Mt. Lady? Whoa, even Best Jeanist is here...!" "And Mr. Tiger, too." Yao-Momo added, looking at the male Pussycats member.

After the two students stepped down onto the ground, Miku fixed her sore shoulders while Iida spoke up, "Everything is fine. The Heroes were on top of this way before we were." "This is great!" Kirishima cheered. "But what about Katsuki?!" Miku asked in a panic. Iida, however, seemed to remain calm, "The Heroes should have him. Now then, let's get back home. At least we won't have to explain ourselves."

Midoriya looked back across the alleyway, his eyebrows furrowed in weariness, "It sounded like All Might is somewhere else. So I don't think you should worry, Yui. I think this means he's rescued Kacchan."

"If All Might's on the scene, there's no reason for us to worry. Let's go. Quick." Yao-Momo stated, her voice full of happiness. "Right." Todoroki and Vanessa responded together, the dual haired boy swiftly grabbing the brunette's small, chubby hand in his much larger one. Miku smiled to herself, trying to think of the likelihood that her lover was safe.

As they continued to walk, Midoriya suddenly stopped, looking back with a concerned look on his face. Vanessa and Todoroki noticed this, and they looked back at him in worry. "You alright, Midoriya?" Vanessa asked concerningly, but the boy didn't respond. Todoroki grunted in confusion. "Midoriya?" Vanessa asked once more, but once again, Midoriya kept silent. And then, out of nowhere, there was another massive explosion.

... The teens all felt their bodies freeze up in deep fear. They all held their breath, many drops of sweat running down each of their faces. Because in a microsecond, a villain appeared and made the teens all see their deaths in front of them clearly. The image of the seven of them lying dead cold and covered in dry blood on a pale floor.

The teens all gripped their clothes immensely, except Vanessa and Todoroki, the boy's hand still linked with hers, and their grip on one another's hand was equivalent to a death-grip.

Who is this guy? What just happened?! Todoroki thought.

We're not safe here...! What do we do?! Vanessa panicked.

He took out three pros in an instant! Kirishima gasped.

We have to run...! I know that, but... Yao-Momo's worries trailed off, holding her breath.

I'm so scared that my legs... Iida found himself shocked in disbelief.

My body...won't move! Midoriya freaked out, also holding his breath.
