Chapter 85: Dangers Ahead

3rd Person POV

Nejire ran up to Ryukyu with full curiosity, lunging forward onto the Dragoon Hero and wrapping her arms around her neck. "Hey, hey, what's the scoop! What's going on! Talk to me, Ryukyuuu! I mean, I know you said there's a meeting, but what's it abooout!" "Patience, Nejire." the pro warmly smiled.

"You're here as well, Mr. Aizawa?" Vanessa walked up to their teacher with a surprised look in her eyes. "Yeah, I'm confused, too. What are you doing here?" Miku walked in with her arms crossed over her chest and a raised eyebrow. "I was called in last minute for this thing. I think I've got a rough idea of what it's about." Aizawa sternly replied as he looked off into the distance away from the best friends.

"You should, too." The two girls then turned to Ryukyu, who had just spoken up after hearing them. "Remember what I told you and the other girls, Homura?"

Miku softly gasped once she remembered— It's about the new case! Meanwhile, Vanessa stared at her with a pure look of confusion, "Uuuh..."

Ryukyu now turned to Sir Nighteye, "We're all here, Nighteye. Let's get started." When Nighteye heard this, he began to walk forward to the center of the room and group. Vanessa and Miku quickly rushed over to their separate work study groups.

"Thanks to the information provided by all of you, our investigation has progressed substantially." Nighteye stated with an incredibly stern look on his face that sent shivers down Vanessa's spine, "We've invited you all here for a joint conference to share the intel we've acquired. Regarding the Yakuza group, Shie Hassaiaki, and what we believe they might be planning."

"Hold on, I feel like I'm missing something really important here." Kirishima looked up to Fat Gum in confusion, not the sharpest tool in the shed, "Shie... Ha-what-now?" "Shie Hassaikai, bro." Vanessa placed her hand on the redhead's shoulder with a soft huff of a chuckle under her breath.

"Yep." Fat Gum replied, "Some bad guys plannin' to do some bad things. And they've called a meeting so we can talk it all out. Trust me, you three were very much involved." Fat Gum then looked down to Tamaki's bandaged up arm and Vanessa's bandaged up neck and face.

All the heroes and U.A. students now sat down at a long table. Sir Nighteye sat at the far front end, with Bubble Girl to his left and Centipeder to his right. "Well then, let us begin." Bubble Girl announced.

"Those of us from Nighteye Agency have been conducting an independent investigation into the designated villain group known as the Shie Hassaikai for about two weeks." "What prompted this?" a random hero questioned the cute sidekick. "An accident involving a gang of thieves called the Reservoir Dogs." "I heard about that." Another hero pointed out.

"The police wrote it off as an accident, but there were a number of points that didn't make sense, so they began tailing them." Bubble Girl added, before Centipeder spoke up, "I, Centipeder, conducted a follow-up investigation. In my investigation, I found that, in the past year, the members of Shie Hassaikai have increased contact with those outside of their organization and other groups involved with shady businesses, moving with the aim of expanding their organization and increasing their funds. And soon after beginning the investigation..."

A picture appeared on the screen, where it showed Chisaki and Twice standing alongside one another, although the picture was taken from behind so it only showed their backs. "... he was in contact with a member of the League of Villains, Jin Bubaigawara, villain name: Twice.
