Chapter 67: The Crushing of U.A.

3rd Person POV

The remaining students of U.A. were stunned silent as the other schools ganged all up on them. Midoriya grunted, "I knew it...!"

"I saw you on TV. Super strength that destroys your own body... Well, I can't say I'm above taking advantage of that!" The lovable Shindo that Class 1-A met earlier, grinned crazily, now suddenly giving off the appearance of the villain as many balls were sent in the group's direction.

Midoriya was the first to defend, using a kick to send a bunch of the balls flying away. Tokoyami used Dark Shadow to grab as many balls as he could. Ochaco used her Quirk to fly above and away from the balls, while Sero deflected them all away with his tape, and Mina flung the balls away with her acid shots. Yao-Momo created multiple shields to block herself, Tsuyu, and Toru.

Vanessa quickly drew a giant shield that covered both her and Miku. She also drew a wind blower, handing it to Miku. Miku blew all the balls away from the two while Vanessa grinded the tip of her pencil against her paper with an emerald hue from her fingertips and the pencil, trying to keep the shield-drawing from being pierced. Iida ran through all the balls with his Recipro Burst and Mineta used a chain of his own grape-balls to send the objects flying back.

The green haired boy leader of the group now stood up from his attack, "We've got this, you guys! Show them what U.A. can do!" "Yeah!" the students cheered in response.

Shindo's classmate, Makabe, hardened a couple of the orange balls. He then threw them to his classmate, Toteki, who sent them charging into the ground with purple flashes of light.

The group looked around to try and find where the hardened balls would appear from, but it was no use. "Get back, I'll handle this." Kyoka stepped forward, plugging her Jacks into her new hand speakers. She punched the ground, sending soundwaves from Heartbeat Distortion through the rocky ground and attacking Shindo and his group.

"Hmm. Looks like all of the students are still in a stalemate. Not a single one's passed yet. Oh. And don't worry, students, I'll keep you updated with an announcement every time a few students move on to the next round." Mera spoke up on the announcer, his voice ringing throughout the entire stadium.

As Class 1-A continued to defend themselves, Vanessa sighed in relief, "Hallelujah. At least we'll know how many spots we have left to fill." Miku nodded with a hum, before Shindo's loud voice could be heard.

"Outta the way!" he screamed to his classmates, "Their defenses are too strong right now. I'll fix that." He glanced up with a horrifying smirk, then using his Quirk to create an earthquake that began separating the U.A. students.

"Not good. Everybody run!" Iida desperately yelled, but it was far too late.

Vanessa and Miku struggled to hold on to each other, yet, Vanessa lost her balance with more debris falling toward her. "Vanessa!" Miku screamed to her best friend in a panic... before everything went dark.

And just like that... U.A.'s Class 1-A was separated.

Vanessa Freitas' POV

"It's about time somebody perked up and passed." Mera groaned just before he yelled into his microphone in shock, "What?! There were 120 people taken down? A single person managed to do that in just one attack?! That actually surprised me so much that I'm awake! I assume we'll see a lot of people passing from now on. Everyone, let's get this out of the way so I can take a break. Good? Good."

"Ughhh..." I groaned, rubbing my head from the attack. I had managed to get up after Mera's unbelievable announcement. I mean, how could ONE person take out that many people?!
