Vanessa watched the world fly by as she stared at the window of her taxi, her eyes devoid of any shimmer.
She was almost back at U.A. from the nearest airport where she just wished goodbye to her family.
The incident at Nabu Island was the final straw for her family, and her parents, younger brother, aunt and uncle and their two sons, and her grandparents—the people closest to her in her family—immediately bought airplane tickets to Japan to visit her.
Yesterday, when she had seen them... she bawled her eyes out.
They spent the entire day together, and she showed them to some of her favourite spots in a few cities. Her family was also very insistent on meeting her boyfriend in person, but he hadn't been granted special permission to leave the dorms like she was.
But they couldn't afford to stay any longer than two days. The flights were already so long and they had to return to their work and school.
So today, after the Class A vs. Class B exchange had wrapped up and school finished, she headed back to her dorm to change into her clothes and head out to go visit a few more places with her family before heading to dinner... their last activity together before they would head back to the hotel, grab their luggage, and head to the airport.
Vanessa had on black romper that was warm enough for these cold times. The top was a plunging v neckline and the spaghetti-strap sleeves wrapped around her shoulders and went down her back. Her black boots had laces in the front and the heels were thick, two inch. She also wore a light blue jean jacket along with a black winter jacket over it. She had her hair in a very low ponytail held together by a black scrunchie.

Vanessa had noticed that the taxi had now pulled up in front of the school gates. She thanked the driver, and since she already paid him earlier, she swiftly exited the car and began her slow walk to the dorms. Specifically, 1-A's dorm.
She had managed to hold in her tears in the taxi, not wanting to embarrass herself in front of the driver. However, on the walk to 1-A Alliance... she couldn't hold them in any longer.
Tears fell from her darkened eyes... as she slowly approached the front doors. And once she opened the front, large doors, she was met with something she really didn't need to deal with right now...
"YOU IDIOT!!" Tetsutetsu screamed, fist clenched and standing over Kirishima who hid his face in embarrassment. "I don't wanna hear that weak whining out of ya!!" "But... you totally showed me up today!" Kirishima whined, but in a manly way. "Sure, I can take the heat 'cause I'm made of metal! But still! Metal can only get so hard, y'know?! While every time you get beat, you get tougher!" He shamelessly roared, before his personality did a sudden 180 and he extended his hand out to the redhead, "Me and you got our own strengths!" "Thanks, Tetsutetsu!"
