Chapter 117: The Unforgiven

3rd Person POV

"Even in the worst of times, heroes don't have the option to kill!" Ending roared as he held onto Natsuo with his white lines, "But YOU!! YOU killed that Nomu, right?! And I'm just like that puppet—not alive, not dead, somewhere in between! So rest easy!"

Endeavor furiously growled as the students started trying to break through their car wrapped in white lines. Ending cackled madly, "Use those dazzling flames of yours to—"

Bakugo leapt out of the car through the window with an explosion, while Todoroki, Midoriya, and Vanessa followed him through the back doors. The boys had their Quirks activated and Vanessa gripped a Mistsplitter Reforged drawing.

"Forgetting something, slackers?!" The driver obnoxiously yelled before he threw their hero costume briefcases out through the window. "Kacchan! Todoroki! Freitas!" Midoriya called them in a panic and threw the cases to his classmates. "Thanks Midoriya, but no need!" Vanessa gritted her teeth—still full of rage from the villain kidnapping Natsuo—and threw her brief case to the floor. Bakugo prepared his right Grenadier Bracer, Todoroki put on his support item vest, and Midoriya shoved on his Air Force gloves.

"NATSUO!!" Todoroki and Vanessa both screamed in an intense panic just as Ending spotted them coming, "Trainees, huh...? But Endeavor... kill me right this time! You're my only hope!"

Endeavor quickly planned his attack, however when he witnessed Natsuo imprisoned before him...

He couldn't move a muscle.

He was stuck there in complete and utter shock from something he had just thought—

Bakugo flew over Endeavor with his explosions while Midoriya and Vanessa ran past the pro and Todoroki sent a wave of ice Ending's way. Bakugo was menacingly grinning while the other three students gritted their teeth with furrowed brows. "Oh, flames of hope!!" Ending cheered, maniacally laughing, "Still playing the good and decent Hero?! Even with your own son's life on the line?!"

Now getting close to Ending, Todoroki prepared a wave of fire, putting his father's advice into his movements.

Focus to a point... Build up...

Todoroki looked up at the villain with a pure glare of hatred, "Give me back—"

Release!!

"—my brother!!" Todoroki sent the wave of fire at Ending, however the villain had a way of dodging it that neither the teens nor Endeavor ever considered.

"Quickly, now. Kill me. Because if you don't..." Ending said before he used his white lines to throw around the cars held up by the villain around, which also held drivers and other riders inside. "... MORE will die—!"

Suddenly, Bakugo burst in with his explosions, grabbed Natsuo, and blasted off with a wicked grin, "'More will die'?! Nope!" Alongside Bakugo ran Vanessa, who had just managed to catch up to the hothead. "Hand me Natsuo!" She ordered Bakugo and with a scoff, he tossed the imprisoned boy to her. She quickly cut him out of the white lines with her Mistsplitter before rushing back to her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Midoriya used Air Force to gain ground, readied his Blackwhip along with Endeavor's advice, and successfully managed to catch the three falling cars full of people with his new Quirk.

Todoroki attacked the villain with another wave of fire while Endeavor ran up to his son and Bakugo. He held onto both of them tightly with a look of utter shock in his eyes.

Ending fell to the ground and just as Todoroki readied his fire, he was suddenly pushed aside by his girlfriend. He gasped as the brunette walked up to the villain, "Vanessa, don't be reckless—!!"
