Two Heroes - Chapter 6: The Final Stretch

3rd Person POV

What the five witnessed at the top of the tower scared the living hell out of the group.

It was the main villain from the party, but he was in a mechanical beast of a machine as big as the I-Expo tower itself. All Might was fighting many slabs of metal the monster sent at him, and it was noticeable that this was taking a toll on him.

When a bunch of more slabs were aimed at the number one hero, Todoroki quickly froze them with his ice. "Go to hell!" Bakugo screamed at the top of his lungs as he flew through the air and repeatedly exploded the area where the villain sat in the beast. However, he soon clenched his arm in pain, looking down toward their teacher, "How can you let yourself get beat by such a lame final boss... Hurry and take him down!"

"We'll do what we can!" Todoroki yelled, his left arm and a bit of the left side of his torso ablaze while he held his right hand outward, ice steaming from the right side of his body and his skin beginning to freeze up. "We'll help you!" Vanessa added, standing beside her boyfriend with her drawing board and pencil in her hands. The rest of the students now came through the doors, Uraraka and Jiro carrying Kaminari by the shoulders and Iida supporting Yaoyorozu, body weak from using up all her lipids.

"Iida, let's knock those hunks of metal out of the sky!" Kirishima exclaimed, hardening his arms and sprinting forward. "Yaoyorozu, take care of things down here!" Iida ordered, before running at full speed towards the battlefield. "Right!" she replied with a quick nod. Vanessa signaled Miku to follow her with a head motion, the two able to communicate just by actions. She drew two giant machine guns and handed one over to her bestie.

Iida and Kirishima broke the metal with their Quirks, Bakugo exploded his metal blocks, Todoroki froze more of the metal slabs, and Miku and Vanessa helped shoot them down with their weapons.

All Might continuously dodged and smashed all the metal slabs, until a bunch came at him and he performed a Carolina Smash. Then, out of nowhere, when he was about to punch the villain, the bad guy got ahold of All Might with the same capture strings that the robot centuries used. The villain hit All Might with his strength Quirk which caused him to scream in pain.

Upon witnessing their teacher and number one hero's immense struggle, Midoriya fell to the ground when something hit him internally due to his connection to All Might, and Melissa crouched down next to him in worry.

Bakugo yelled out a "Damn it...!" as he struggled to use his Quirk to his full potential now, feeling his arms began to wear out. Todoroki sent another wave of ice at a slab, but it wasn't strong enough and he had to dodge. He had reached his limit with his ice, and both boys were tired.

Sharply gasping through her teeth, Vanessa quickly drew a large shield just a second before three giant metal slabs could hit them. Next to her, Miku shrieked in fear, closing her eyes, but opened them a few seconds when she realized that the pain from the slabs never came. "Shit...! We're not getting anywhere...!" Vanessa growled under her breath, her teeth grinding against one another as she and Miku ran from the shield before the slabs could destroy the drawing.

Their teacher was then held back and slammed together by many giant metal cubes. "All Might, no!" The girls screamed in fear, as the villain sent his final blow. "Uncle Might, NOOOO!" Melissa cried, but Midoriya suddenly jumped up and smashed the cubes to pieces, breaking All Might free.

The monstrous machine began to crumble slightly as All Might and Midoriya stood up. After the two exchanged some words that the others couldn't hear, they shook hands and leapt into battle together.

"You're insignificant pests! And you don't know when to lie down and be crushed!" The villain screamed for the whole world to hear, which only caused Bakugo to growl in-between breaths. "You're the one... who doesn't know he's beat!" He mocked, exploding more of the metal cubes, his arms only wearing more from the excessive use of his Quirk. He would have to practice and strengthen his endurance.
