3rd Person POV

The twenty young Heroes were now sat down in the common room. Koda, Kaminari, Sato, Mineta, Kyoka, and Yao-Momo sat on the couches and sofa blocks, while the rest of the teens stood behind the couch. Mina stood in front of everybody while in front of the couch. She held an empty tissue box that was being used as her vote box. "All right, everybody~! Has everyone got their votes? Remember, you can't pick yourself, guys!"

Mina was very quick to tally all the votes, leaving the folded papers scattered on the table beside the tissue box. "And now, without further ado, here are the results of the first Best Room competition...! Minus Bakugo and Tsu." She quickly hushed that last part before quickly shouting, "Drumroll, please!"

The Bakusqaud was quick to follow their 'mother's' orders and tapped their laps repeatedly. "With a total of seven votes, the overwhelming winner of this totally awesome contest is..." Mina paused, and held up the card dramatically, "Rikido Sato!"

Sato let out a sound of confusion, but Mina was quick to spring back. "By the way, all the girls voted for you. Because... that cake was delicious. I want some more..." she drooled alongside the rest of the girls—besides Miku and Vanessa. "That's why?!" Sato exclaimed with shock, Mineta and Kaminari raging at him

Iida, Midoriya, Todoroki, Vanessa, and Miku all stood in the back as they watched this happen. Todoroki turned to the boys to his left with a bored look on his face, "Is it over? Can I sleep now?" "Yes, and since you had cake, don't forget to brush your teeth!" Iida motioned his hand like he was brushing his teeth over his mouth. Miku playfully rolled her eyes at this with a cute snicker.

Midoriya gave his dual haired friend a warm smile, "Thanks for sticking it out." "Yeah. We know you don't like these types of things." Vanessa added as she gave her boyfriend a side hug.

Todoroki chuckled softly at her cheeks squished up against his torso, "Goodnight, princess." He lifted his hand to brush away her forehead bangs and leaned down to press a gentle kiss to her now bare forehead. She smiled warmly, a satisfied huff leaving her pink lips, "Night Sho."

The dual haired boy now turned around and began walking away with a, "Goodnight, guys." meant for the others. Midoriya smiled, "Night, Todoro—"

Before Todoroki could exit the room, all of a sudden, Ochaco called him and cut off Midoriya. "Hey, Todoroki, wait a minute...!" He turned around, his eyes holding curiosity. "Deku and Iida, you, too. Yao-Momo, Vanessa, Miku, Kirishima, you have a sec? It's really important." She gave the seven all looks of concern for some reason. And because of this, they decided to listen to the brunette.

Vanessa Freitas' POV

Ochaco was now taking the seven of us outside, leading us down the entrance stairs. "So, uh, where are we going?" Eijiro asked, but then gasped lightly when he noticed Tsu. This was why I decided not to ask that same question when I first spotted the greenette. Her face had a depressed look to it, her bangs covering her eyes because her head was tilted to the ground.

"Right here." Ochaco brung us to her, standing behind Tsu only by two centimeters. "Tsu said she had something she wanted to tell everyone."

Tsu looked down to the ground, and I couldn't help but feel more nervous and scared for my friend. "You guys know I'm pretty straightforward and always speak what's on my mind. But sometimes... I don't know. I'm at a loss. Remember what I said back at the hospital? When you were talking about the rescue..."

I did remember. Clearly. How she said that if we went after Bakugo, we'd be breaking the rules, and we'd be acting as villains instead of heroes...

Now, I couldn't help but feel even worse.

Midoriya glanced down in guilt with a nod, "Yeah. Every word."

"My heart was hurting." The frog-girl continued, her voice shaky, "And the things I said must've upset you." Ochaco was quick to rush to her best friend's side and place a comforting hand on her back, "It's okay, Tsu." "Despite my warning, you still went and saved Bakugo. I didn't know that until this morning. I thought I'd stopped you... but it turns out I was worthless. A complete failure. And suddenly I had no idea what to say. I didn't think I deserved to joke around and have fun with everyone like usual. But... it made me... so sad to be without you."

Oh... my God...

Heavy tears sprung from the girl's eyes, "That's why I wanted to talk to you. Even if I'm still not sure how I'm supposed to be feeling, I wanted you to know so we can hang out and talk and have a good time again." she rubbed her eyes.

Ochaco frowned as she held the back of Tsuyu's hair, "It's not just you who thinks that. Everyone... felt pretty bad and... wanted things back the way they used to be before. That's why we did the room contest. To bring us closer together and make us feel like a class again. It's all we could come up with, so please don't think we were trying to trick you or anything. Look, what I'm trying to say is—" she pumped her fist up into the air with a bright grin, but I could tell it was forced, "—let's all work hard at our training and be good friends again, okay!?"

"Tsu!" Eijiro rushed in with tears at the tips of his eyes, "I'm sorry! Thanks for telling us how you feel!" "It's okay!" Yao-Momo burst in with tears also at the ends of her own eyes.

"I apologize!" Iida was quick to then rush in, Miku behind him, "This isn't your fault, y'know!"

Shoto stood behind the others with a calm response, "You shouldn't feel bad." "Asu— Tsu!" Midoriya exclaimed, but was fast to correct himself.

Eijiro grabbed the shorter girl by her shoulders, "Listen, I won't make you sad again!" "Me either!" exclaimed Yao-Momo. "Me too!" Miku added, clearly fighting the tears that wanted to form in her eyes. "We promise!" Iida exclaimed, but without thinking...

I quickly shoved Eijiro out of the way. I grabbed onto Tsu, pulling her close to my chest in a tight hug. I silently cried into her shoulder, gripping the back of her dark blue T-shirt.

"Tsu..." I mumbled as tears began to rapidly fall down my cheeks, "I understand how you feel. I know how you feel...!" I heard her gasp in confusion in my ear, but I continued regardless. I had to say this. It was the one thing I could do for my friend. She didn't deserve this heart break because of us— because of me.

"I always feel worthless." I mustered myself to say, and I heard soft gasps leave my classmates' lips. "Like a complete failure and mistake of a person. That I don't deserve my powerful Quirk, or the amazing friends and family I have. You just need to know that you are not worthless. You're not a failure. If you keep thinking these things... you'll only end up like me. I'm so sorry for not properly listening to you at the hospital!"

I couldn't contain myself, and my tears flew down as hard as Tsu's. I felt Shoto's cold hand rub circles in my back, and Miku started to rub my arm.

I had to tell Tsuyu this. She needs to know that she's not alone...

So she doesn't become a mess like me.

Fun fact! I originally planned for Dabi to end up succeeding in kidnapping both Bakugo and Vanessa.

Why didn't I go through with this? I wanted to put myself in the disguises bit.

THAT'S IT.
