CHARLOTTE'S POV

Outside was Mr. Verlac and he started walking and soon enough I realized I had to follow him. I took my suitcase and hurried up. "Hey, slow down." I told him and just kept walking behind him. "Jeez, jackass detected." I whispered and I found it hard to believe that he actually was related to Sebastian. "Listen here." He stopped and I almost bumped into him. "I don't know what are you looking for or what are you trying to get, but it's not going to work." I stared at him and just shook my head in disbelief. "What am I supposed to get according to you, eh? I just came here to close a chapter. I don't know who the hell you think you are, but I won't let you threaten me for some complex you have to figure out on your own." Just then I realize we had gotten to the place I was supposed to meet the rest of the soldiers. We kept talking about our institutes and previous missions and then some guy went in and told us dinner was being served.

"Showtime." We all said and walked to the door. As usual, I could notice how anxious she was, so I took the hood off and she relaxed immediately. After dinner we went up the Greenhouse. Catherine was right when she said New York was better, but this had its enchanting too. We talked about Thor and Catherine had this vibe that made me want to share things with her. I knew she would not judge whatever I had going on. So, I told her most of it. Then, Jace called. After this weird day, I needed to hear his voice. I waited until Catherine left, so I could tell him all about my day. "I thought I could do this, man. But, apparently I can't." I told him as I fought the tears. "Why? What happened? I thought you said it had been a great day." Jace was full worry now and I told him everything about Leon. I rambled about it for a long time and eventually the tears fell down. After a while, I was feeling better. "I should head back."

I did not want to leave him. "I don't have the same privileges as at home." I said with a sigh as Jace just nodded. "You're better than this Leon guy, so, don't let him get under your skin and whenever you have a chance to beat his ass, do it." I giggled at that and after saying goodbye, I walked back to the room I would be sharing with Cath. "What are you doing?" I asked as I entered the room. "Planning your days here." Catherine answered like it was obvious. "Your director already did that, so stop doing that." I told her as I texted Izzy. "So, can I move these things to put my record player?" Catherine looked at me like I was crazy. "You brought your record player?" Her question made me smile and in that exact time a portal opened in our room. "Here you go." Izzy said and when everything was in the room, she left. Catherine and I organized everything and we glamourized everything, because no one could find all this.

Once we finished, we went to bed and we turned off the lights, but my phone started to blow off with texts and then, a call entered. "Hello?" I answered, smiling already. "Father asked me to fight a few battles by his side before I rise as the new king of Asgard." I smiled at that; he had always dreamed to become king. Thor said and I felt happy for him. "Those are great news, dude!" I spoke as Catherine walked to the window. "This means I won't be able to meet you every week." That shut me up. I was so used to see him weekly that I knew for a fact that I would miss him like crazy. "Hold on." I spoke to the phone. "Wha-what are you doing?" I asked Cath, but my question was answered when I saw Thor walking in. I had never told Thor about my world and yet he was no idiot, but he was not supposed to see through the glamour, but then again, he was not a normal mundane.

"How?" I questioned again and Catherine just shrugged. "You're not supposed to see the institute." I whispered/yelled and he just smirked. "I thought you were on your way to some battle in Asgard." I said with a smile as Catherine was clearly uncomfortable there. So, I did my best to include her on our conversation, but she was not comfortable.
