CHARLOTTE'S POV

When Catherine left, we stayed in silence for a little bit and I walked to the kitchen to clean everything that was dirty. "You know, I can do that later." He said and I nodded. "I know, I just need to." Steve got closer and helped me wash the plates and dried them and we finished quickly. "Why did not you kiss me the other day?" I got that question out of my system as I sat on the couch for one. "How old are you?" He asked and I frowned. "That's all about it then? My age." I hummed and stood up to get my things. "I'm ninety-three, Charlie. We don't have anything in common." I faked giggled and walked away, without considering that he was right behind me. His hands went to my waist and got me steady there. "You're not ninety-three. You are twenty-seven, it's time for you to accept that these sixty-six years did not happen to you." He sighed annoyed and I took his hands off. "I need practice." He whispered and weirdly enough, I heard it loud and clear.

"Ask for it." I turned around and dared him. He was nervous and the shy part of him was trembling. One thing was to act flirty and another one was to actually go with it. "Help me." He said and I did not know how to approach him. I walked slowly back to him and left my things on the couch. I put my hands on his face as his arms surrounded me immediately. I felt big butterflies on my body and I felt my whole interior trembling with nerves. "Do you really want me to be your first kiss in this new life?" I asked as our lips grazed slightly. "That was the worst pick up line I will ever use in my life." As he finished saying that, he kissed me and I immediately responded to him. We started slow, tasting each other and after a while, he got away to breathe. My heart was beating so fast I thought I would pass out. "If I go all French on you, would you still look at me like I'm innocent?" I asked him not really knowing what I was asking.

Steve just nodded not really knowing what I was talking about, so I did and all I got was a grunt from him. "You're driving me crazy." He whispered and I smiled into the kiss. "You haven't seen anything yet." I whispered and kept on kissing him. His hands were steady on my waist and I was thankful of that, if he wandered around, I would not doubt to take the rest to his bedroom. It was then, when we heard car doors being slammed and Steve covered me with his body. I got up and walked to his wardrove as he followed me. "Act normal." I added before stealing one more kiss. S.H.I.E.L.D. had come to bring food and to examine him. "Your heart is beating hard." The guy said and I was nervous. "I was doing some push-ups before you got here." He lied and I sighed at that. When the guy left, Steve waited for a long time before coming to the bedroom. "Can I see your shield?" I asked when he opened the door, mainly because I was afraid that I would jump at him.

He chuckled and helped me to get out. "Just if you stay." I thought about it and nodded. We walked to the other room and there it was. It was so shiny and light and I was amazed of it. "Did I tell you that you were my Halloween's costume?" I told him as I walked in front of the mirror and Steve just looked at me. He was just surprised of every little thing I said and after returning the shield to his place, I kissed him again. "We brought some presents, but you have to open them when you're on your own." Steve nodded and looked for my lips once again. "Would you think I'm an old person if I say that I'm tired and I want to go to bed?" His words had a special reaction on me and I just followed him. He hugged me and he fell peacefully asleep. I draw a resting rune on him, so I could go to the bathroom and freak out. I have had a making out session with Steve Rogers and I could not get off cloud nine. I had never acted like this, what was happening to me?

I read Cath's texts and told her where to meet and when, then I went back to his bed and stayed as close as I could to him. He was warm and he was so soft. I did not want to go. I have never felt this drawn to someone, not even Thor and a month ago, I would have freaked out big time, but now, I was just curious on whatever was to come with him.
