CHARLOTTE'S POV

It was time to go back to the institute when Justin hugged me and pulled me back to bed. "Stay." A part of me knew that I had to go, but the compassionate side believed that he was really trying to leave the thing with Tony behind. "You know I can't. I have to work. I'm having a meeting in a few weeks and everything has to be perfect." Justin sighed, but did not let me go. "You've never told me about your job." His question might lead me to my plan. "You never asked." I kissed him. "My team and I develop apps. You might have heard about Instagram." His facial expression just showed me he thought I was just a dumb teenager. "You came up with the app for Tony?" I tried to act like I did not know a thing about their rivalry. "We just needed some money to finance our project and he said yes. Now, we're working on another one and we have to present it to him in a few weeks." He nodded and stood up.

"Why haven't you asked me?" His question brought me back to the game. "I didn't want you to think that I'm here because of that. I'm not using you." He showed a wicked smile and I knew his response would be sex-related. "I love when you use me." I chuckled, but I was dying inside. "Whenever you have the app ready, bring it to me. I'll do whatever Tony was supposed to do for you." I tackled him and next thing I know, we were at it again. It was like a part of me needed to get something off me. When he fell asleep, I realized what it was. A part of me was desperately trying to erase Thor from my body and stupidly enough, I thought that as much sex I had, it would be faster, but after a month with Justin, my technique was clearly not working. Maybe it was not about the sex, maybe it was about just doing it, without feelings involved, no reasons related. Just sex. It was morning, when I left his house and jogged to the institute.

Catherine was already waiting for me, so I changed clothes and went with her to her habitual jog. As much we got out, the better at jogging I got, so I liked that. After the tech workshop, I sneak out again as Justin wanted to see me and he told me to bring a friend. As I was still undercover, I took Catherine with me. Justin was waiting for us in his house and he drove us to some venue. Cath and him established some kind of conversation and I was happy for that, although I knew she disliked him. "Girls, I don't really know about your taste in music, but this seemed to be very you. So, hope you have a nice night." We got off the car and followed him to the first row. As we waited for the concert to start, Justin went backstage, leaving us there as the people started arriving and as much as I tried to look around, I could not get whose concert we were in. "What are we doing here?" Catherine asked me and I really did not know what to say. "I'm not sure."

Suddenly, the lights went off and the first notes filled the place. It was a Rihanna concert and we immediately forgot the previous questions. We jumped, we sang and just had a nice time, forgetting about our job. Justin just enjoyed our reactions and just posted about me on his social media. As I was with Catherine, Justin drove us near the institute and got away. As we were entering the premises, Leon texted me. "What happened now?" Catherine asked and I just got into Instagram's servers. "Our faces are all over internet, if someone sees them, we're done." She was not really sure why we would be done, but she helped me do whatever I had to do. We both spend some minutes blocking our faces and when we finished, it was just too late to go to bed. Catherine had the combat workshop and for once I would assist, I needed some extra points with Jace, so I could not just bail on her. We both activated our runes and just started the fights.

My fellow peers were lacking concentration and they barely paid attention to Cath, but as I got next to her, they paid attention and realized how bad they were at fighting, which led us to train them harder and Jace noticed something in me, but he did not say anything and I avoided to go near him as I knew he was still mad at me.
