CATHERINE'S POV

As I had been scared to get out of my comfort zone my whole life, this would be my first time in the seminar. I was excited to be in Paris as it was also my first time in Paris. The trip would have been even greater if Charlie would have been with me twenty-four-seven, but as she liked to remind me, I needed to spread my wings apart from her. As she fell asleep, I lowered my eyes to my book and tried to read before getting to Paris, but somehow the view kept distracting me. I took my phone and logged into my Instagram and posted a few pictures. As it was a mundane fair and we both would be there, we were going to keep promoting Starks Industries as according to Tony, his mentions had gone up once again, so he had donated a few attractions for the fair. "So, what you said got stuck in my head." Leon added after a while, scaring me. "By the angel!" He smiled and tried to not move to not wake Charlie up. I was confused on what he was talking about.

"About me liking her." I nodded as I had already forgotten about it. "You said it was not like that, so I believe you." I said and kept snapping more pictures. "That's the thing. I think you're right." As he said that I stopped breathing. I slowly turned to look at him, so he could explain what was going on. "Being in her institute made me realize that she was never at fault for what happened to Sebastian, I just needed someone I could blame on. But she's a great girl. I'm not in love with her, I just think she's a great woman and I like that." I hummed as I really did not know what to say to that. "If you're expecting me to say that she likes you too, I won't do that. She's in a relationship with someone else and he makes her happy, so I wouldn't put my hopes too high." He nodded and I kept taking photographs. "I know, I just wanted to get this off my chest." Now was my turn to nod and I returned to my book.

We landed in Paris at half past ten in the morning and a special bus was waiting for us and we were taken to the hotel. The rooms were single and to my non surprise, I was separated from Charlie. "You might meet some hunk and you might take him to yours tonight." As soon as she said that I laughed my bum off. "Yeah, like someone would want to hook up with me, Lottie!" I scream to her in the hall. "I'd totally tap that." Some dude said and Leon stopped walking. "What did you just say?" Damn, this would not end up well. "Sorry, I don't know what made me say that. I'm really sorry." The boy said and I just nodded as Charlie hugged Leon. "Don't do anything stupid." She repeated until he breathed out and relaxed under her. "You both need to go; I'm stuck in meetings for the rest of the day. Have fun!" She winked at us and jogged away. "It's you and me, then." He spoke. "Oh, please, don't say it like it's a punishment. I can be fun too."

We both laughed and walked out. We had the day for us and we needed to enjoy it. We started in the nearest attraction, which ended up being the Notre Dame Cathedral. It was beautiful and using our invisibility, we entered the museum and the upper part of the basilica. It took us an hour to walk it over, then we moved to the Louvre Museum. It was kind of surreal to have a pyramid in Paris and it took us almost four hours to cover the museum and the pyramid. By then, it was lunchtime, but we needed to cover more ground, so we grabbed something to eat and went to the next spot. The D'Orsay Museum had more famous paintings and I was very happy for that. The geek inside of me was having a field trip. An hour later, we were on our way to Tuileries Garden. That made me miss our Greenhouse. This was a seventeenth-century formal garden dotted with statues and it was massive!

Our next stop was the Place de la Concorde, a public square withfountains, statues and an Egyptian obelisk, mind blowing. And I took picturesof everything and upload it to my Instagram account, promoting StarkIndustries, which became popular immediately. Finally, when the sun set, weended in front of the Eiffel Tower which was my highlight. Nothing compared tothat.
