CHARLOTTE'S POV

I looked at her and joined her dance, making myself sure that the towel was firm on its place. After a while, we went down to the dining room, where everyone was already on their seats and everyone looked at us like we were late, when I went to look at Catherine, I realized that we were in fact late. Second lesson, British people were always on time. Catherine tried to hide her face from the rest and I hooked my arm with hers. "We're okay." I whispered and slowly, she smiled at me and we both walked with our head tall. We walked to our table and talked like we owned the place and by the time we ended eating, it was time for me to go and teach whoever was the first one on the list. Cath smiled and went out with some of the new guys to show London around. I walked to the technological room, there was the head of the institute waiting for me. "Miss Verlac, as the head of the institute, I'm going to be the first. Hope you don't mind."

Her words sounded weird, but I just showed a smile. "That's fine by me. For starters, I need to see what I need to fill you in, so I prepared this." I handed her a pen-drive. She nodded and sat in front of the computer and stayed there waiting for I do not know what. "You need to turn it on to start." I said after a whole minute staring at the screen. "Oh." She was somehow ashamed for that first encounter with technology and I just put my hand on her shoulder. "It's okay." I pointed to the on button and let her do her own thing. I instructed her on everything she had to do and she managed to do everything I asked her, following my words and I felt good with that. After an hour, the second in command got in and everything started again. By eight at night, I had finished with only five people and according to my calculations, it would take me at least two weeks to measure everyone's abilities with technology and I was fine by that.

"Ready to have dinner?" Cath asked from the door. I was finishing saving all the things I had used and I smiled when I saw her. "Yeah. I have the exact time to have dinner and then go on surveillance." I spoke as I took my things and walked out. "Evelyn told me, you're off duty, except for missions." I was confused, but glad at the same time. "I talked with her about your schedule as it was not fair the rest had some free time and you were on a constant treadmill. She said that Leon had made your schedule and she was very sorry for the inconvenience." I smiled and we both went to have dinner. "So, what are we doing tonight?" Cath asked with a smile and I activated my energy rune. "What's good to do in London?" My question was answered by a smile and I was glad that she was by my side. We had just met -kind off- and it felt right. "The London Eye at night is something you should see." Cath explained as we ate and I was sold with just listening to her plan.

"I'm in." I added and we kept enjoying our food. By nine, we all went to our room and I made sure to call Jace first, otherwise he would freak out if he does not see me in the institute. "How was your first real day?" He asked and I smiled. "Cath beat my ass at training today." I blurted out and he smiled. "She's very good." He said and I nodded happily. We kept talking for a little bit and then, we hung up. "Ready to go?" Cath asked and she looked different wearing my clothes. "Let me just touch up my make up." She nodded and watched me. "Do you want me to put some makeup on you?" Her eyes scream yes, but she did not say a thing. "Only if you want to." I smiled at her and I put some eyeliner on her and some lipstick on her lips. She looked beautiful. We snapped a few pictures and sent them to Izzy, who was about to portal herself to London so we could hang out.

At ten we portaled to some place near the London Eye. We bought thetickets and waited. The wheel took us to the highest point and I was marveledby London's beauty. "I love New York skyline, but this is breathtaking too." Iconfessed as Cath smiled at my words. "Both places have nice things." She addedand we kept enjoying the ride.
