CHARLOTTE'S POV

I held my head and just tried to think. "What about the guy Steve met the other day? The one that was running slow." Catherine said and I knew who we were talking about, but I did not know him personally. "Samuel Wilson." She nodded and after investigating him with the Stark sunglasses, we got to his house right after he got back from his jogging route. "Dude, we're friends with Captain Roger's and he needs your help, so please, when they come, let them in." He was too confused to say something and we went out, hoping they would come here. After a while, they knocked on the door, Sam opened and was surprised that they were there. They talked, made a plan and we just looked from afar. It was then, when we heard exactly what the Project was and I sent a text to Jace with the information we had. After that, we were in the car and then, we heard the Winter Soldier. As they took different approaches, Cath and I took the people out of the way.

After a while, the so-called Winter Soldier shot Nat and Steve started fighting him. Cath backed Sam up as I held Nat and used my Iratze on her. "In a scale of one to ten, how does it hurt now?" She smiled and showed a five. "Great, we can escape with a five." She shook her head as I was attentive to Steve's fight with Bad Bucky. I got unfocused when the mask fell and Cath got to my side as S.T.RI.K.E. was coming. As I looked at her, Nat took some gun and shot to save Steve, who was too shocked that Bucky was actually alive and then, a very confused Bucky was gone, just when the S.T.R.I.K.E team got there. They took Sam, Nat and Steve in for questioning as I did not trust one bit, we got in the van too and thought for the best way to get them out of there and quickly as Nat was hurt and she did not look too well. "It was him. He looked right at me like he didn't even know me." I wanted to tell him that he did know him, but I could not.

"How's that even possible? It was like seventy years ago." Sam's words were the thoughts of us all. "Zola. Bucky's whole unit was captured in '43, Zola experimented on him. Whatever he did helped Bucky survive the fall. They must have found him and." It hurt me to see him this broken. "None of that's your fault, Steve." Nat added and I put a new iratze in her, she was not gonna make it. It was like she had given up. "Even when I had nothing, I had Bucky." Sam noticed Natasha was bleeding and tried to get help. It was then, when Maria Hill took off her helmet and a part of me got happy. They were safe. "That thing was squeezing my brain." Sam looked at her in confusion and then to Steve. "Who's this guy?" She questioned again as the car stopped. As Maria made a hole on the ground to escape, we stayed to follow the bad guys back to their cave, just to know what would be their next move. They knew Steve knew about their crimes and about Bucky.

It was only a matter of time for this thing to blow off. By the time we got to the HYDRA facility, they were fixing Bucky's arm and I really did not know how to feel. Somehow, I could read his thoughts and he was remembering everything, realizing that he was bad, so he attacked the doctors, but then again, Pierce got there and when he hit him, Cath almost lost it. As they left him alone, we walked near him and touched his arm. "We'll help you out of here." Cath talked to his mind and he looked around, like he had lost his mind. His eyes softened for a second and then he lost consciousness. I could not even think of what he had been through all these years. "I'm going to kill him." I froze and stood right in front of Cath. "We both know he's not guilty for this. They are." I said already protecting Bucky with my body and Cath was taken aback. "What? No, of course not, I'm going to kill that poor excuse of a human being." I still did not get who we were talking about.

"I'm going to kill Alexander Pierce." I saw how serious she was and decided to stay quiet. "We better run, cause I'm sure he's about to do something to the counselors, so he has the whole power." Cath nodded and we went to the Triskelion, allegedly the safest building in the country, but I did not buy that bullshit.
