CHARLOTTE'S POV

When I planned this, I never thought that it would actually work, so when I found us in the castle, I smiled at myself. "Welcome to Asgard." I told Catherine, who was marveled on the beauty of the kingdom. "Let's go." I said and she stopped looking at the stars. "Yeah, I know. They are blinding, maybe you can call Loki and watch the stars together." She chuckled and kept walking with me. We found Sif walking around the castle and she was walking to the cellar. "Charlie! What a surprise." She was really shocked to see me there and I knew she did not like me as according to her, I had stolen Thor from her. "Hey, do you mind telling me where's Thor?" I said quickly, I did not know how time worked in space and we had to be back in London really, really soon. "He's up in the bridge, with Heimdall." Her smile let me figure out that she was about to add something mean. "He's missing his new human. So, I wouldn't be so happy." I stared at her and smiled.

"Even without me around, you couldn't get him, so." She made a face and left. "She's such a bitch!" Catherine said and I just sighed. "C'mon." I whispered. We finally got to the bridge and there he was. He seemed a bit sad and I hated to realize that Sif was right. "Charlotte is here." Heimdall said and Thor turned around. "Why-How did you get here?" Thor asked and I shrugged. I was not ready to talk with him. "This was a bad idea." I said to Cath's mind. "Mr. Heimdall, would you give me a tour for the kingdom?" Heimdall nodded and after a few seconds, we were on our own. "I just want to know why?" I asked as I looked down. Thor fell to his knees and hugged me. "I did not plan it. Let me explain it from the beginning." I nodded and we both sat down on the floor. He explained me that Father exiled him to Earth and erased his memories of me. So, when he got to Earth, he just followed the flow and he ended up falling in love with this human.

As Loki took the battle to him, Thor was willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good of humans, that action made him worthy of his powers and as that came back, his memories also did. "So, basically, you're now confused?" I asked not really sure he knew what to feel. "I'm stranded here and I can't really take her off my head and then, there's you." His words stung a lot, but I just activated my rationality rune and bravery rune and held his hand. "Look, I get that Loki did all this, but if your heart would have really been committed to me, you wouldn't be confused, so." He kissed my hand and apologized. "I just want you to know that we're still friends. I can't lose you as a friend too. I care about you, so please, don't give up on me." His words hurt me even more and I started crying. Thor cried with me and we kissed. "Maybe our time was not the right one, but we could try again sometime." He spoke.

"I only have one short life and I don't do overs." I smiled and we kissed again, but we were interrupted when Heimdall cleared his voice. "I'm going to miss you, but I need to go back home." I announced and just walked away. "Thank you, Heimdall." I spoke to him and he nodded. "I need to get out of here." I told Catherine to her mind and I just opened a portal back home. As soon as we got back, I packed the rest of my things, opened a new portal to go back home, no looking back. "See you in a few days, partner." I hugged Cath and then I crossed the portal. Once I was on my own, I started crying. It was not like I was in love with him, but I did care about him and now, I was on my own. The next day, I activated the rationality, bravery and Iratze runes and went to present myself for the mission as I knew Jace would be pleased to see me. My face did not show how bad I was feeling and I was content with that. As I got to Jace's office, he was not there. So, I went to his room.

Clary had gone to a mission in Alicante, so he was on his own. "Dude, wake up." I whispered as I got into bed with him. "I'm not working right now, so let me sleep." He groaned and cuddled me. "Fine." I said as I let him spoon me. I fell asleep and when I woke up, I was on my own. "Dude, you never leave a woman in bed." I talked to his mind and a few seconds later, he entered the room.
