CHARLOTTE'S POV

I knew that watching mundanes movies would come in handy someday, although I never thought I would use it to save ourselves. Once the team was ready, two other girls used a glamour with our clothes and bodies as we looked like them. For the first time in a year, I would go in a mission with another partner as Catherine would go with someone else, so we did not look suspicious. We actually had to get ready in different rooms as none of us was allowed to know how the other looked, in case someone caught us and even if they tortured us, we would not give information away. It was six in the afternoon and we left the institute. Each group would have a 'section to watch.' Leon and I were in the south and that was all I knew. I activated my sight rune and made a whole sweep of the place and there was nothing out of the ordinary. I did not even know whose concert was, but we had to pretend that we were excited.

After a while, I realized we were in a McFly concert and I tugged Leon's hand. After a little bit, the concert started and we jumped and paid attention to anything out of the normalcy of a concert. By the fifth song, I looked at Leon. "I love this song, so you better watch out for those demons." He rolled his eyes and let me enjoy the song. I sang my lungs out and when the song ended, I went back to the soldier Charlie. After a while, the concert ended and we waited for everyone to exit to make a full revision of the place, but nothing was there. "Nothing on the south entrance." Leon spoke quietly and every one replied except the two girls that were supposed to be us. This was a confirmation to what we already suspected. They were after me. I activated the GPS and we followed the signal. They had been just taken as they were close to the backstage. We found them and some other dudes were surrounding them.

Catherine took her Stark sunglasses and started recording. "Yeah, I was surprised when I found that too." She spoke to my mind. The girls did not say anything and Leon had to use a glamour to go there and untie them. As the guys were doing some other thing, Leon took them and brought them to us. Quickly enough, I opened a portal and we were back in the institute once again. "What happened?" I asked as I activated their iratze. "We were just minding our own business and then some wankers pushed us to this thing and then, we were tied to the chairs." Vallery explained and I was truly worried for her, she was fine, but I was still anxious. "Did they say anything?" The other girl started talking about some breakthrough in that place after the concert, but with us there, they really could not open the rift. "This is really fucked up. As if we couldn't- Son of a bitch." Catherine interrupted herself.

"This is not about Charlie or any of us. It's about the institute. They want to close it, but as we're getting recognized by things since Charlie got here, they want to take Charlie off premises so it's easier for them to close us." That had so much sense, but up until now it was just a theory and we were not sure if we wanted to prove it right. "We have to tell Evelyn." Leon said and I nodded. I pressed the notification button and after a few minutes, she was on my door. We explained everything and she seemed to support our theory as the lady from the Clave had been checking a few other things in the institute and the dates coincided with my arrival. "What would they get if they close the institute?" I dared to ask and Evelyn sighed. "London is the oldest and biggest institute in Europe. So, if they close it, they can use the energy lines of the institute and bring hell back to Earth." That let us all speechless. "I need to tell my brothers about this." She nodded and left.

She knew that we would need all the help we could gather. By midnight, Magnus, Alec and Jace appeared in my room once again and we told them everything we knew. "That's why she kept asking how great of a value you were for the institute." Jace confessed. "And I foolishly said that you were not allowed to stay here." I smiled at that, because he was able to do that and so much more.
