CATHERINE'S POV

Charlie was right, she needed to go forward and being locked down in the room, would not make it go away. I sighed, she was safe and I had Thor to thank for that. After lunch, we had the Tech Workshop and we kept working on the project. We had two weeks to get this out of the Shadow World. Each team was working in a marvelous way and I felt proud that everything was behind. It was a clean slate for Charlie and the residents and it seemed to be on the right track. Finally, the night before the launching had arrived and after checking our last details, we got back to our room. We rested for a little bit before starting a new day. "IT'S HERE!" She screamed as she jumped around the room. "Are you ready for it?" She stopped for a moment and smiled. "Yes. It's going to be amazing." We went to have breakfast and once again, Charlie went to double check everything before showering and started getting ready for the event.

As I finished getting dressed, some lightings started falling and a smile crept on my face. "Did you invite him?" I asked and Charlie just shook her head. "Did you?" She questioned me and I shook my head too. "Then, I guess, we have a date." Shortly after the lightning fell, our balcony doors opened and Thor was not by himself. "Ladies, let me introduce you to my little brother. Loki." As he said those words, Charlie put a smile on and went to hug the black haired, blue-eyed Asgardian. "This is your little human, then." He added with a smirk and she just got back to Thor's side and I held my hand out. "I'm Catherine." Loki stopped looking at his brother and Charlie and glanced at me. "Good evening, I'm Loki." He kneeled down and kissed my hand. That was a dejavu. "It runs in the family." I whispered to Charlie's mind and we giggled. "Anyway, you need to change those clothes." Charlie let go Thor's arm and left the room.

"What is she talking about?" Loki questioned his brother as I kept looking for the right shoes. "Tonight's the launch of our app." I replied and Loki glanced back to me and pointed at the cream shoes. "You think?" I questioned and he walked closer to me. "It's either that or the black ones." I hummed and put my hand over his shoulder and put one shoe as his eyes went to his shoulder, just then I realized what I was doing. "By the Angel. I'm sorry." He stared at me and I could not get my eyes off of him. Next thing I know, he took the other shoe from my hand and kneeled in front of me to put the shoe on. I heard Thor ramble about something, but my brain was not working properly as I was lost on his eyes. "I'm sorry, what?" I blinked and looked at Thor who was on his way to the shower. "I just told my brother to behave. And I'm in the shower. A scream and I'll be here." I nodded and looked back at Loki, who was in front of the mirror, watching me.

"What do you think of this?" He questioned about his hair and I walked to him. "Your hair is amazing. Maybe a little tiny bit shorter to get rid of split ends. Other than that, you're perfect." I really could not believe what I was saying to a stranger. "I'm not a stranger, though." He said as he took his cape off. "How?" I was shocked and he shrugged his shoulders. "I'm a God." I look him up and down and when I found his eyes, he was smiling. "Can I do something without you freaking out?" He frowned, but nodded either way. A second later, I was hugging him and he was too shocked to hug me back. Charlie got back with her arms full of stolen clothes from around the institute. "Here you go." I told Loki as Thor got out and pushed Loki to the bathroom. "It seems we both got dates." Thor had shaved and Loki had trimmed his hair. Both looked very handsome and I was proud of them, they were doing their best effort to be supportive.

"Okay, it's time to go." Charlie fixed my dress once more and started getting out of the room. We all walked behind her and went to the entrance of the event. There we found the directors of New York and Alicante. I looked at Charlie and before she could freak out, Thor hugged her, making me feel at ease. We could not deal with more stress right now.
